I can see your point here. I would favour an experience head coach coming in. Farke, Carvalhal and Wagner being 3 candidates we should be looking at for that role.

Plus an experience DoF like Stuart Webber or Nicky Hammond would be ideal.

Maybe informal interviews have taken already who knows with their agents to find out what demands and terms are already with certain candidates

Well I do have plenty of hope on 2 good appointments being made

Venkys history of appointments has been horrific, so why would you expect them to get two right at the same time?

The turning point was BBD's injury and Rothwell's head being turned.  We've looked poor since.

I agree that TM could have done more and I fancy a change this summer, but many of the names lauded here over the past two years have done little better, or indeed worse that TM.  So tread carefully.

I hear what you are saying but I am extremely tired of the repeated lack of fire, enthusiasm and inspiration from a man who constantly absolves himself of any responsibility. He's an absolute lemon drizzle twat.

I would much prefer to try and fail than to perpetuate this death by a thousand cuts under this gutless twonk

The world has gone mad if people serious think sacking Mowbray now is the right thing to do given we are promotion race which most on here never thought would happen. The 2 reasons for that our chance of promotion is down to Mowbray and the players

He's appalling,  1 goal in 7 games, last season's appalling death spiral. Season after season of abject shite and you defend this clown????? You should be ashamed of yourself, we will never advance as long as this piss taker is in charge. He likes his snout in the trough and couldn't give a fuck about anything else. An absolute waste of space

That's where differ. Plenty of games to go. Expect plenty of twist and turns to come yet

Since we couldn't score in a brothel how do expect us to fair in these twists and turns. One thing consistent about TM are these death spirals, anything else is pure hope and that hope reduces in the summer when 3 or 4 walk out the door for free. He's had his snout in the trough long enough and apart from a little excitement leading up to Christmas he has been mediocre at best, time to part ways and get a little drive and enthusiasm in this side.

  5. A couple of points on the Markanday signing:

Kudos to Rovers for the price they paid, Levy is a monster in negotiations and rarely gets seen off

Spurs are reasonably well stocked in the forward positions and are currently pursuing Traore, pushing the youngsters further back in the queue.

So understandable that he sees first team opportunities as hard to come by at Spurs.

  6. "on a journey", "building for the future" "we've got a list of 6 strikers" blah, blah, blah

The management have shown absolutely zero ambition to progress, build or move forward. This can easily become a self fulfilling prophecy, players at the club see the lack of ambition, lack of planning and wonder why they are hanging around this shit show. Similarly other potential targets look at Rovers as a dysfunctional shower. At this point we are only attractive to those who aren't wanted anywhere else.

Hang your heads in shame TM, Maggot and Venkys

People in that Rovers chat live saying Mowbray and Waggot have done a good job, I could cry. People saying if we finish top 10 give him a new contract WOW.

True, probably for the first time ever on a consistent basis under Mowbray but now with all these kids to shoehorn in.....

We are also only a couple of injuries away from a disaster, Ayala, Lenihan, Nyambe etc. are all physio gold pass members.

So what will be the statement tomorrow?

    1. We tried, but wow the wages that these players are on we couldnt get to 10% and that was just on loans.

    2. These loans are not free, we've brought in 4 players and the owners have backed us all the way.

    3. We looked at a few, the money was there, but they were not right for this club.

    4. I've challenged Sam and Ben to make that striking role their own. Its always been the plan, we did it with Arma, he played wide in the early days but then we moved him into his favoured position and reaped the benefits. With the loan additions in wide areas, the time for Sam and Ben is now.

    5. Look everytime i've asked for that bit extra in funds the owners have always supported me, on this occasion the money was there, but we just couldnt get the one we wanted, the valuations were crazy.

    6. Look we have the January window  and we've kept our key players, Dacky is to come back, and then we have some good young players chomping at the bit.

Unfortunately Glen I think you've absolutely nailed it. These arseholes produce so much horseshit they should sell roses

Going forward, I think Rovers have to been solid defensive and play on the counter with our players. I think we have a decent squad and I think we will finish a mid table this season.

We haven't replaced Armstrong, lost Elliott plus a load of others and even with them we were shite last season, how do you think we improve this season

Haven't I posted enough at the lack of club planning and strategy in not replacing him soon enough.

You just questioned Swansea for selling a forward and replacing him with a lad from a premier league team. Rovers have a massive hole to fill with Armstrong leaving, is that ok with you? or are you happy with some lastminute.com dude being shoe horned in. As for TM's " we are looking at 6 alternatives BS" 😡😡
