James just signed for Leeds, guess Poveda's time there is up

If for the sake of argument we had a scouting system in South America and said scouts found a few kids that looked decent and would be U18s etc. What criteria would be needed for them to be registered?

To get them cheaper, I assume. Early business comes at a premium....
It's not ideal
I get that cost is a massive part of it, but so is a 29 goal hole that needs filling

Yeah but in all other areas we are happy for professionals to operate at the high levels of their field without questioning every judgement and suggesting that they don’t know what they are doing. Have you ever called your vet “Mogadick”? What about complaining about a pilot’s lack of charisma? There aren’t any message boards where people complain about how a surgeon tried to perform a heart bypass and stating that they’re missing obvious points of improvement.
TM is a professional manager, not as good as some coaches for sure, but with decades of experience behind him it is hard to listen to armchair experts on here banging on about how they can see what he can’t. We’re all entitled to our opinions, I’m ready for TM to leave now as well, but it frustrates and depresses me to constantly read the same old crap in here day after day.
As BDS stated, TM has a level of expertise in coaching professional footballers that is beyond the comprehension of probably anybody who contributes here. Your comparison with vets, doctors and pilots is an apt one, so if you respect the above professions for their expertise and knowledge then why can’t you see how embarrassing it is to think that you could do better then TM, or let yourself down by slinging childish insults around.
The above is not all aimed at you btw, just my observations on those who post the same inane, tired old cliches and personal attacks on a daily basis!
The big difference is, for me anyway, I've never tried to fly a passenger aircraft, nor have I carried out an operation on an oragutan, what I have done is played football for many years, coached a bit and watched absolutely tons. This in itself isn't a professional qualification, but it does give some understanding of the game. for instance I know Sam Gallagher is neither a winger or a RB and never will be as long as I have a hole in my arse. This amongst various other peculiarities in players/positions/contracts etc. seem to elude TM, or he is just so full of himself that he ignores it. 2 wins from 17 last season should have woken the dozy twat out of his comfort zone, clearly it didn't.

All I’m pointing out is that charisma has nothing to do with being a decent manager. Dalglish went out of his way to make life as difficult as he could with the media. If you want to criticise Mowbray fine, make it relevant though
Pep and King Kenny have many redeeming features despite their lack of love for the media, Mowbray has none.

Most of the above although slight of frame were all physically still very strong on the ball though.
Tugay was slightly different as he had the knack like you say of creating a yard or two of space for himself.
Not just strength, all the above plus Messi, Maradonna, King Kenny, Xavi, Iniesta, Scholes etc. have fantastic balance, acceleration and awareness

All of them?
Ronaldo, Benzema, Kane, Pogba, De Bruyne, Lewandowski, Salah….
From a Rovers perspective, some of the most skilful players are the likes of Cowans, Tugay, Duff, Berkovic, none of these were physically big, all of them created their own time and space and they all delivered a killer pass/cross or two

blimey its only a squad number.
It's never just a squad number in the premiership, it is all about image, individuality and control. CR7, Newcastle No 9, United and Liverpool No 7 etc. Very often these are dictated by the players, the point Tyrone is making is that Dyche controls the narrative, not the tail wagging the dog.

And Mowbray has said he ain't coming here. So many wasted days and weeks on a player he never had talks face to face.
We should have moved on after last Friday. He had enough to decide for me.
How many times have you posted this, like a scratched record repeat, repeat, repeat

Talk about a way to burst the early season optimism: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19525768.mowbrays-message-blackburn-rovers-fans-contract-renewals/
I didn’t realise Lenihan was in his last year too. Potentially we’re going to lose 4 of our best assets next summer for free - save for a few peanuts for Nyambe. Criminal.
I just read some of the comments on this article, the happy clappers are full of Mogadon love on this. Irrespective that the first team already threadbare will be further decimated: Agents are the devil, great to see Tony's open and honest blah, blah, blah.
Why do I read this? I must have some some kind of disorder that needs to punish me aaaaaarrrrgggghhhhhhh.

Two games in and Mogadon is coming out with this shite: https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-team-news-forest-21332142
Did the club release 12 players without the smoggie simpleton realising? Who could have known that when that many leave it would leave holes in the squad.

Uh, so they made him and then he went back there later. Yeh I think that counts.
Also nobody is saying they need to be connected to Mowbray's time at Boro, just Boro - the club he loves, is a hero at, still lives near and has many connections at.
I wish he'd feckk off back there

Now ,now you can't pick and choose whether a Boro connection is wrong or right based off how good the player is 🙂

I was staggered 2 weeks ago we hadn't signed a soul. We have since lost our best player and still not signed anybody. Yet Mowbray waltzes into his press conferences and the same happy nodders from the LT and BBC Lancs buy into "how hard" Mowbray has it.
Irritated isn't a strong enough word, I'm livid!
It is such a shame for poor Mowbray on his huge salary, failing to achieve mediocrity. The Obafemi thing irritates, the rest of the bungling, responsibility dodging bullshit really pisses me off.

Is anybody else getting really irritated by every time the Obafemi transfer is mentioned it is captioned by "This is a totally separate deal". We all know that's a crock of shite and repeatedly telling the lie doesn't make it less so. It's starting to sound like a Trump rally.
