What is going on, it's been at least 20 minutes since our last signing. Pffffffffffff

Why the eulogy? It's only a loan deal.
His contract is up at the end of the season at Leeds

Is it OK to start feeling excited about our prospects this season?

For me Douglas is a win win. Either he pushes Bell to improve or he takes his spot and is a big improvement.
All round I'm happy with this window as it stands, Kaminski looks decent, Ayala is a much needed presence, Douglas upgrades LB significantly and Dolan is the cherry on top

As loans go, Brandon Williams may be a possibility due to the arrival of Telles

I never had the pleasure of seeing Douglas in the flesh but if Rothwell is World Class at running with the ball then Sellars was the greatest player that ever lived.
Where does super Atko fit into all this?

Does anyone else think Lenihan was a complete prat to pick up that yellow card?
Time to stop being the team that's nice to play against. We've lacked a little nastiness and cynicism for quite a while. Despite the score line Lenihan was determined to keep a clean sheet, a winning mentality in my book, we should be happy he took one for the team. Looks like Ayala's influence is apparent before he's even kicked a ball in anger, long may it continue.

Go back and look at Venkys share price before they bought Rovers.
They owe us not the other way around.
And that’s before we get into what they have done to our club.
Don't doubt for one moment they have been a disaster for Rovers, but my comments were purely based on the chart for their shares. Purchasing Rovers didn't take it to the highs of April 2018, nor did Rovers create the down trend since then.

Lol Stop being so negative!
Show me a company that didn’t have a sharp drop in March. First global lockdown.
Since then they have recovered during a pandemic. They need to stop pretending Venkys are skint, it’s just insulting to people.
Not often I agree with Chaddy, but since April 2018 it's been in a downtrend, lower highs and lower lows. It has recovered somewhat from the effects of covid, but not to previous levels and certainly nowhere near historic highs

Bell has had plenty of chances to show his worth, so far that hasn't amounted to much

Gallagher will never be a winger as long as he has a hole in his arse

Great result. Clean sheet and a bag full of goals, only downside for me was that Brereton didn't get on the score sheet

Amazing how the signing of a decent CB has lightened the mood of this board, but enough of the levity, where's this LB I'm nearly having palpitations

How many football fans that you know are that patient during the transfer window, that's more of a tease than a lap dance without a happy ending.

And as a little cherry on top: "He also played in Liverpool's 4–0 win over Burnley, subsequently relegating them to the Championship"

I was thinking of the game against Liverpool away. The one were Torres scored what could have been the goal of the season. I was embarrassed for Samba that day.
Tbf Torres tormented most defenders at that time

well my point was one about signings overall in the league not just Rovers related.
But Its good to see Mowbray saying that club transfer targets won't be determined by the quarantine measures
I think you are wrong there Rev. Mowbray knows we signings otherwise we wouldn't been trying to make signings and had players in for medicals.
Do you remember "Defenders are coming.....", wouldn't be the first time he's blown smoke up us

This managers sees no urgency in anything at all that's why we constantly end up hamstrung in certain positions. A few knocks or lengthy injuries and we are up the creek this season yet he slumps back into his chair with his cup of tea.
Never forget the lemon drizzle

This is some managers who are available. Part of the article discusses those at risk, amazingly TM isn't amongst them: https://fanbanter.co.uk/10-unemployed-managers-putting-pressure-on-championship-bosses/

Nobody in since the quarantined keeper, nobody out?
I am ok with that.
Nah, as long as Bell retains a starting 11 position I am definitely not ok with that

Nob Enders are one down against Cardiff, if only they had an attacking wide player that scores and assists ?
