Firstly it wasn't a Nixon story about Dack going to West Brom.It was another sun journalist who did the story yesterday.

Secondly kamy and JB have said they heard from a gpod source that we rejected a 15 million bid for Dack.Nixon has been saying all day Rovers won't deal.

He wrote a story in the sun that we had Rejected the Dack bid?Not sure how that's selling our players?

Yeah but thirdly he is an absolute wand

I'm actually quite interested to understand Nixon's mindset. His unrelenting obsession with linking Rovers players with deadline day moves away to rivals never ends.

How much does he get paid for this sort of stuff? I think I could do his job.

If we were seriously after Chapman we could have got it done this summer. I don't buy all this stuff about needing to wait for Middlesbrough to get people in first. Pulis clearly isn't a massive fan and he hasn't got a new contract there, if we'd have gone in strong early doors they'd have sold him to us. We've left it late and hoped to get it done at the 11th hour and it hasn't happened.

Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) is characterized by a long-standing pattern ofattention seeking behavior and extreme emotionality. Someone with histrionic personality disorder wants to be the center of attention in any group of people, and they feel uncomfortable when they are not.

  3. If Chapman comes back I don't think we could have expected much more this window. Maybe Bauer instead of Rodwell but even that sounds a bit ridiculous if TM can get Rodwell playing anywhere near his potential.

Best I've felt about Rovers since the fat greasy one and the one with the dirty tash walked onto the pitch at Ewood wearing those beautiful scarves back in 2010. Big T you are a legend in my eyes.

Pick one of the best players in the championship and link them with a team outside the top 6 in the Premier league, then pretend to be in the know and call yourself a journalist... Slow claps for you dickhead.

Any prem club with a scouting network will be well aware of Dack... In other news the sky is blue and it might rain this year.

    Clown.

    I enjoyed 'dickhead' very much.

Problem is by us talking and writing about a story he's created he's got exactly what he craves; attention.

Brentford were good, there's no denying that. They were far better than Reading and Millwall at passing the ball around in a way that opened up both flanks. Bell and Nyambe had to be on their game. There won't be many matches where they don't score and we had to work incredibly hard to keep them out. What was pleasing is that we looked so solid (crew) defensively. I'd be surprised if Brentford aren't in the top 6 and I doubt many teams will to come to Ewood and move us around like that. We dominated Millwall and Reading for large parts of those games (and Hull and Ipswich by all accounts) but we didn't really come close yesterday. Still won mind, which owes a lot to Mowbray's tactics and the work rate of the team.

    T T T T twenty one seconds

Thank you for bringing that banger back into my life.

Great performance well done lads.. special mentions to...

    Evans - immense again

Bennett - the guy has an unbelievable engine

Bell and Nyambe - both played very well

Rothwell - always looks to make things happen

I think Nuttall was a complete waste of time.. lack of effort and push

I suspect that'll be Nuttall's last game for us this season. OK I hope.

Usually I'm pretty chill in regards to rovers. Maybe it's been the acceptance of doom over the years. But this window is beginning to pee me off a little. It's all the promise. Of hopefully someone in by the end of the week. And it never happening. Basically they've got my hopes up. And I've a nasty feeling we are going to be left short.

Agreed. If I hadn't paid attention to the media this summer I'd be pretty happy with the window. It all started with the "wanting to get players in before the trip to Austria" comments from TM, completely unnecessary and naive at best for me.

  8. Rodwell has split people and rightly so. He will get my full support as any new Rovers player would, my hope is that he's been brought in as it's looking increasingly unlikely we would get Bauer until January at he earliest. The focus has to be on attack now, come on Tone & team get the f8cking players you want in.

Yes, but you were commenting on his performance in this match, when he was (in my opinion and those of many others) a class apart last night. To label a player 'a disgrace at times' for making one mistake at the end of an otherwise impressive performance (when we were pushing for a win in the last few minutes) seems ridiculous. If you think making the odd mistake qualifies as 'disgraceful' you must have pretty high standards.

Evans seems to attract a lot of this type of hysterical criticism for some reason, despite being the most composed player we have on the ball. He doesn't do anything spectacular but does all the hard, boring stuff that no one else can do as well as he can.

    What JacknOry said ?

He presented for every throw in.

He moved the ball forward from defence to attack for the entire game.

He presented every time Lenihan or Mulgrew had possession.

He made an important foul when they were three on one.

He continuously made two yards of space for himself to take the pressure off the defence.

He did all that and only gave the ball away once all night, when he crossed over the back post.

    But yeah, disgraceful.

He gave it away with one minute left hence my comment. The 'at times' part was ignored in your response and I stand by it. One of his better games though so I should maybe I should have recognised that, however overall he's been poor a lot more than he's been good in a Rovers shirt.

Please do explain your much thought about comment!

When he gives the ball away with 1 minute left and presents Reading with a chance to attack; a better team could well have punished us. Overall one of his better games hence why I included 'at times' and I 100% stand by it, he can be appalling. That OK?
