Won't be going there then. Prefer my meat to have had a better death than having it's throat cut.
Be careful Al, that's 2 things we agree on now.....

An Englishman supporting Australia is the lowest of the low.
Ron Weasley: She NEEDS to sort out her priorities.

Did JW seem to have the wherewithall when he first came from little chef
Wasn't it BT?

England has had 10 clubs appear in the Champion's League (Us, Utd, City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Leeds, Everton, Newcastle and Spurs).
Spain has had 14 (can't be arsed listing): http://www.eurocupshistory.com/champions_league/spain_clubs
You can use stats how you want ofc, but I believe Spain is definitely more competitive than England.

At what point did I sledge Bob Dylan btw?

I'm with you on that one sparky, went once about four years ago and I wasn't impressed enough to go back. Like you say it's the authenticity of the place it just feels like a run of the mill identikit westernised East Asian restaurant. The food is nothing special. It's very 'in' to like Wagamama at the moment though.
That and 'Yo Sushi!' are complete crap.

Tbf Stuart, I'm also a fan of Dylan but queueing for that long? Not my thing.
You make wrestling sound easy! Try it some day, it's hard as hell. Dropping 6/7ft onto your back onto a relatively solid mat (hardly gym mats) hurts. And doing that about a dozen times in 10mins on top of various athletic jumps. Just because it's choreographed, that doesn't make it easier or less entertaining. It's essentially athletics and acting combined.
I get as much from that as I do from competitive sports like MMA or boxing (if not more because it's so OTT and ridiculous).

If you don't know why paying £40+ to watch 'American Wrestling' is odd, then good luck to you I say
Thanks darling I suppose it's not normal to go and watch your favourite tv show get recorded :/
Well colour me weird
Ackroyd I've been watching Bob Dylan off and on for 40 plus years since 1969 - Isle of Wight - and for me one of great joys is not knowing what you're going to hear - he constantly reworks the music. One of my favourites was Earls Court in 1978 when virtually every song was hugely different from the original. Listen to the Live at Budokan album to get my meaning, I'm sure you have already. Slept on the pavement in Leeds Headrow for two nights to get that ticket, the web is wonderful!!Since Modern Times I think his music has evolved fantastically and he's producing probably the best music, as opposed to lyrics, of his career. From any artists view it must be incredibly boring to be expected to produce the same performance of a song today as 40 years ago so the need to rework it is to me very understandable. Like everyone else I could have written a set list and style that would have been my ideal but not one Dylan would have performed. I was just delighted to get the same feeling of huge excitement and a little tearfulness on Friday at 59 as I did when I was 15 years old. So as the great man says May You Stay Forever Young.
And GAV said I was odd.....

Off to Resh's tomorrow
It may not be super high class but never had a bad curry there under the Sukhis banner and they always treat you like they are glad you are there rather than being a hinderance
I feel same about Anaz dem clean windows!
Any review of that Mexican you tried (or am I mixing up members?)

If you could reveal to me why you think it's odd, feel free.

I enjoyed Phantom Menace for one reason only:
Double-edged sabre. Phwoar!!! (Odd that technology was more advanced in the past, mind).

No, it should a Singapore flag with Kean Out written on it.
Maybe Venkys Out

WWE ?????
Seriously?
Yeah....seriously.
You have to stand next to the inevitable 'John 3:16' sign waver with one asking 'what time is it Stuart?'
Managed ringside seats but unfortunately on the camera-side so less likely to be on TV. But I'll try and sneak in a Benoit sign or something.
-
Next year I have McBusted (the missus, I swear!), Runrig, Lee Evans and Lee Mack to look forward to
And the small matter of WWE Raw live at the O2 on my birthday -
Hoping to try Lust Luck Liquor and Burn (Mexican in the northern quarter, Manchester) tomorrow lunchtime whilst I'm over there for an internal interview
I have heard good things and I love Mexican food so looking forward to trying it
Isn't that a pile treatment?

He can shove his £2k car reg and indifferent indian food up his arse.

I'm not a cricket fan apart from the Ashes series. But I would like to know why 'not walking' in cricket is cheating, but 'playing to the whistle' in football is good play.
Is there really a difference? I see both as just 'waiting for the official decision', unless I'm missing something (I apologise if I am, btw).

That's what Rentokil said when they left Bukhara

Where's Resh's? I'm generally an Anaz fan, but happy to try a new place.
-
Bhukara's ok. But Shajan is just better
You know food critics actually know sod all, BnWR?

That's the only reason that I've not written it off and I will give it another go....but man that lamb was tough. Also for a sauce that has ghost chillies in it, it was surprisingly mild.
I once had a nibble on a naga (oo-err) and couldn't feel my mouth til lunchtime 2 days later :/

We watched Atlantis last night. I'm usually a big supporter of BBC programming but Jason (mythical), Hercules (mythical) and Pythagaros (I'm sure he proved something) in the same programme set in a mythical land? Hercules was the greatest of Greek heroes - this guy needs a serious transformation. Now I am assuming "Jason" is he of Jason and the Argonauts. Do the beeb not know their basic Greek mythology? Theseus slew the Minotaur. This nonsense is aimed at a family audience which will leave a whole bunch of kids with a totally inaccurate view of Greek mythology. Even more worrying my wife is capable of watching Strictly, Atlantis and Casualty. I may take up knitting.
Pythagoras was the right-angled triangle bloke. A-squared plus B-squared = C-squared.

Annie's in Manchester is VERY good. Tasty food (very northern feel, with good fish and chips, an awesome sunday roast and truly excellent choices of pie).
Worth a visit for sure. Pub-food prices in the middle of Manc seem cheap but very nice food. Just watch out for the drinks, mind. 5 of us paid a bill of about £110.

Just been introduced to Trevor. Nice guy (!)

While tasteless, it's just the society we live in now. How long til we're allowed to joke about it?
My opinion is you can joke about anything to anyone you wish. Boundaries are entirely personal. I realise it's very different but I don't mind deaf jokes at all.
