  1. Interesting that Derbyshire has scored 8 goals in 8 games for the Reserves this season, Ive compiled his goals scored below:

    NOVEMBER

    Mon 6 19:00 H Tranmere Rovers - 3 GOALS

    OCTOBER

    Mon 16 19:00 H Everton - 0 O GOALS

    Mon 2 19:00 H Middlesbrough - 1 GOAL

    SEPTEMBER

    Mon 11 19:00 H Bolton Wanderers - 0 GOALS

    AUGUST

    Thu 31 19:00 A Manchester United - 0 GOALS

    Tue 8 19:30 A Stalybridge Celtic - 2 GOALS

    Sat 5 15:00 A Chorley - 1 GOAL

    Wed 2 19:30 A Bamber Bridge - 1 GOAL

I dont think many of us have realised how profilic Derbyshire has been this season, Im suprised Sparky hasnt sent him out on loan again this season to gain more experience.

Has anyone whos seen the reserve games this season been impressed by him? I was reading on the Wrexham boards when he was on loan, that they said Derbys had a very poor first touch and couldnt see him making in the prem with a first touch like his.

  2. One thing Ooijer is excellent at is bringing the ball out of defense, he hardly even misplaces a pass and when put under pressure he never loses his cool and looks almost Tugay-esque, you can definately see the quality in Oojers game coming through now. Shame on those people who were slagging him off after his first lot of games.

When Nelsen returns we could have one of the best defensive partnerships in the prem.

    Good times ahead.

  3. could it be the same for rovers?

13k showed up, do the players think well if the fans cant be arsed can i be bothered, all those empty seats is wel bad.

i know they are pro's and all but if 30k showed up tonight it would of been a different game. the atmo is better and its more support like say a 12 man.

    U iz wrong I fink.

  4. In my opinion, he's very similar in style and performance as Emile Heskey... Bare with me one second while i explain...

I think he is one of those players who likes to be a number 2 striker and have a world class striker to play alongside...

Im not kidding, i think (and i know allot of other people have said this) that if we had been able to keep hold of Craig Bellamy last summer and we had Bellamy and Benni up front, we'd be a force to be reconed with.

Im sorry to say that Benni and Roberts dont look even 75% convinsing, although Gally and Jeffers have shown some true promise..

My brother mentioned today that we were being linked with a young C.Republic striker on teletext. Has anyone else heard of this and who it could be?

Hey town liar, Have you even seen Benni play a full 90 minutes?

  5. Ooijer was excellent again, hes showing his true class.

Neil - not as good as Emerton

Nonda - a class act, he just needs a goal, excellent at holding the ball up and linking the play.

Jeffers - has the bottle to take the penalty and then helps in setting up bennis goal. Jeffers is starting to show the class Wenger once saw, It'd be nice to see him at least come on earlier in games instead of a measily 10 minutes every other game.

Pedersen - was okay, the only people are bigging him up is because hes been so shocking this season.

Mokoena - Sparkys worst signing? not very good

Gally - Again has a impact from the bench, Should have come on instead of the Axe, I'd like to see Sparky bring him on earlier in games though.

    and...

Gray - please get rid of this donkey Sparky, he gets worse every game, Why on earth does he even try to attack the full back, he never ever succeeds and just runs into the defender, sometimes being lucky and winning a freekick. He'd look crap in the championship. As long as hes in the team the opposition has 12 players.

  6. Gallagher played most of the season he was at Stoke on the left wing and scored a fair number of goals for them from there.

Yes your right, most people dont realise he only scored a few goals actually playing as a striker for stoke ( and was pretty crap playing as a striker ), most of the 12 goals he scored for stoke were from the left or right wing. He also had the most assists for stoke as well.

  7. 1. If the game against West Ham was a five a side, how would your team line up?

Brad, Ooijer, Emerton, Savage, Benedict .

    2. Who have been your best and worst players so far?

    Best - Emerton

    Crap - Mgp

    3. From a less than spectacular start, you seem right back on course (Sunday's madness aside)! What has sparked the transformation?

Emerton and Mccarthy looking a classier player then Bellamy

    4. What are the strengths and weaknesses of Mark Hughes?

    Strengths -

Dropping Micky Gray, excellent in the transfer market most times.

    Weakness -

    Wont drop MGP.

Id like to see him use his substituions more, giving players like Gally and jeffers more time from the bench.

Signing Jason Roberts, wont score more then 10 goals this season.

    5. Which combo forms your best striking duo?

    benedict and chris.

    ---

One question why is your manager so bloody Smug?

Also its good to see Marlon Scarewood has shown his true class this season a championship standard player.

I thought you couldnt do the Underground because you are disabled (or is that a lie as well)

Brighton to London means you take the tube from Victoria to Euston.

Actually if you read about 4 cm's up i just admitted that i didnt go... But FYI, you can actually get a train from Worthing to Southampton and Train from Southampton to Manchester.....

Oh and i do get freaked out by close spaces crowds etc, underground e.g. UNDERGROUND, above ground trains dont bother me... I have perennial muscular atrophy which makes my balance poor and as London has allot of people in it and the Underground station platforms get so congested and its hard to get out, i dont like it. Also get freaked out im gonna get knocked onto the track
