Might think Mowbray's not going to be here......
It probably makes sense for him financially to sign a contract here and 'risk' being loaned out again to a L1 club instead of signing a contract directly with one.

I personally am completely against the Taylor Hardwood Bellis, why are we openly offering to produce someone else's player it's absolutely pathetic.
THB isn't going to help us get promoted or stay up.
Let's play our own academy players and develop them than develop some pathetic clubs youth academy.
Harsh. He's a really good prospect trying to make a name for himself, and always gave it his all when he played for us. I'd gladly have him back, and only in an ideal world we would produce all the talent ourselves.

Couldn't care less about the result or performance. I'm only interested in what happens in the summer and hopefully starting the season with a new manager.
We really should replace him right now before he starts handing out gentleman contracts to has-beens and nobodies. He can still cause us a lot more harm. Perhaps a proper manager can convince Rhino to stay as well.

Fielded a side of loanees and players on outgoing contracts when he could have started the likes of Buckley, Dolan and Brereton. Bizarre tactics, Mowbray over complicates it and just because he studies his opponents, doesn't make him a good student.
Time to go, what a waste of time. Boring football.

Wow, that post is going to be absolute message board gold in time. In fact, now - he's already clearly better than L1.
Hope so!
He has proved me wrong lately but needs to work on his end product and still has a long way to go to nail down a regular starting spot.

The pace of this game...

Meanwhile JRC was rested. The decision to play him has certainly cost us.
Travis has been rested after playing too much too soon after coming back as well, and Johnson didn't look fit enough to make the squad tbh.
I think this squashes Dack's Premier League dreams for good, but he can still come back a good player for us. Fingers crossed. Loved the way he combinded with Rothwell and Elliott in parts of the second half - showed some real promise.

You would surely still wonder why if he wasn't injured. You don't sub your best player. ACLs are horrible injuries and most often happen in freak circumstances, just like the last time against Wigan. The injury isn't anyone's fault.
Fair enough. I'd say it was a foul so if it's anyone's fault it's Raya's, but it wasn't a bad challenge or anyting, just bad luck.
On another note, I hope they do replace the pitch. Would be like signing a new player. -

Nah I think everyone would have been furious, he's the only player out there who has any goal scoring pedigree at all.
Depends on the end result. It is what it is, hopefully it isn't too serious but not looking good.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Can you imagine the reaction on here if dack had off got subbed for Johnson when we are 1 down and chasing a game. Lol
True.
I don't think there would have been many complaints had he been subbed off for Elliott at the break though.

My mate did both of his ACLs quite rapidly after each other.
Why do you think that is? Seems odd that you would be more vulnerable?
Compensation. Trusts his left knee more and probably not 100% muscle balance as he's still recovering from his first injury. Injury after injury is common, just look at Darren Anderton's career. Usually there's a lot of strains. This looked like it was very unlucky though.

Considering how everyone is commenting on how bad this pitch is and how tiring it is for the legs playing on it, he probably should have been subbed off instead of Buckley. Only just came back but I can understand both Dack and Tony wanting him to get going.

Didn't see Mowbrays interview? Was he very upset? God that's unreal about Dack. WTF
Awful, awful, awful season
Very emotional.

Probably would have been better for him to re-injure his right knee. Gah, what a night...
Hope he'll come back for us, started to look like himself these past few matches. Maybe too many minutes this soon though, but this was just bad luck.

Agree with this 100%. Played as a forward I think he would be a decent championship player. Played on the right wing and with the shit he gets from the supporters, it's no wonder his confidence is shot.
And that's on Mowbray, nobody else to blame but the manager for that
He doesn't have an eye for goal, a poor touch and loves wandering into no-mans land. He has his good stints but not worth his price tag. Not the game for him, we didn't offer much in the first half so must be frustrating for Brereton and Gallagher to be subbed off. Were left to chase lost balls and not the best at defending either of them.

To be fair he spent a lot of his career wide left. Big Sam loved a wide forward....
Gallagher is a poor man's Kevin Davies. Would probably do alright for Bolton.

Never mind the team it all starts with Mowbray and he offers absolutely nothing.
He does struggle to get the team to put two good halves together, that's for sure.

Again we lose, the are lucky to have Frank as manager...
The referee was really poor. Should had been a penalty when Nyambe fell and then Rayas push on Dack giving an alarming concerning injury. I would not feel good tonight if I was Raya.....
Thomas Frank is a good manager but they didn't adapt to our changes in the second half. Held on and think he'll be a relieved man after tonight.

For anyone wondering Dack hurt his right knee last season. If it's his knee this time it looked like it had to be his left one, but could be ankle or groin, not sure. Hope he'll be okay, but probably out for a little while. Bennett looked worried cos it's our main man, and Raya is a fair player - but that was a pen. One soft pen given to them, two clear-cut pens not given to us.

Best team won but we definitely should have had a penalty
Hope Dacky is ok
I don't agree with you. Over 90 minutes it could have gone either way. They didn't create much in the first despite being superior but we were far better than them in the second half. Elliott has to be starting every game, but I understand Tony wanting to field the same eleven (except for Nyambe). Think Buckley is starting to look better and better and hope he gets a good run in the side.
On to the next one. Boys can be proud of the second half. Hope Dack is okay.

Don't think it's the knee. Pulled groin maybe?

I wouldn't mind Obafemi for a season but if we're trying to build a squad here then we should pick someone from L-1 or from abroad.
