Oh no it's not!
This season it is. How we ended up in L1 is a different story.

We need to get rid of Venky's who know nothing about football to change this regime. At the end of the day they have caused the decline.
This has nothing to do with how we are doing currently. Solely down to the manager and the players.

The players have looked very disorganised for the past few games, defence a shambles. Playing midfielders in defence. Strikers on the wing. Signings have all but one not improved the team, some have actually made us worse. Two of them cost a combined £12m. It looks as if the players have stopped playing for him.
Mowbray has to go now.
Brereton has just come back from injury and has been a revelation this season.
I can't figure out why he isn't giving Downing more time on the pitch by now. -

Season over. Just need to make sure we get enough points to avoid a relegation battle, which I think we will. Anyone who thinks we can still get top 6 is living in dreamland.
Huddersfield deserved the win, we were a shambles. There is no organisation in this team, we look like we're going to concede everytime the other team attacks.
Time for a change...but it wont happen.
We're one game away from half way through the season. It's not over, but it might be time for a change. We are three points behind Preston who looked abysmal against us, but I refuse to let go of the play-off hope. The first couple of games we looked full of excitement, now we look weary and one-dimensional.

Might be time to let Damien Johnson take over. Not convinced by our (lack of ) consistency. Dack coming back won't solve our defensive problems.

Why is Johnson even marking the tallest player on the pitch? Should be Ayala...
Come on!

Too many straight lofted balls going forward. Think we might need Dacks imagination in this one. Huddersfield are there for the taking in the second half.
Rusty Bell, rusty Brereton and an out of form Holtby on the pitch at the moment.
COYR!

Can't believe the ref didn't even tick Westwood off for all his time wasting. Borefest Wednesday.

Nothing happened before Gallagher basically subbed himself off. WIth Brereton and Dack back, we will score loads of goals going forward. I would start Downing over Holtby at the moment, the latter needs a little rest before coming back to his best. Fluke goal for them and we were the superior side, but not to be. Good to see Dack playing well.
Oh, and we need a new left back.

Mowbray for prez!

Whenever Gallagher starts we play a different style of football. Brereton is far superior. Still time to turn this around but we're not looking like scoring.

Not good...they're bringing us down to their level. The Ewood pitch doesn't exactly invite sexy football.

Crazy that we're sitting in 12th, 12 points behind league leaders Norwich, with only two teams on better goal difference than us (Watford the same).
Going forward Ayala needs to be in the team alongside Lenihan, and let them form a strong partnership. Douglas hasn't impressed me so far. Lacks pace, decision making and slows down play too much. Has a good left peg but when Gallagher plays on his side there no one to cross to (in the air).
To everyone saying this season is already over: Nonsense.

After a sensational draw against all odds (playing against 12 will do that for you) last Saturday we've followed it up with two brutally unlucky defeats.
Same as it ever was for Mowbray.
This wasn’t a brutally unlucky defeat. They were the better side in the first half and although we started well in the second, we had no response after their fluke goal.
How easy was Tettey able to cross it for their first, and look at how Pukki turned Gallagher. Against Bristol City it was Williams who was a yard or two away from his man inside his own 6 yard box. Not good enough.

Ouf painful stuff. Brereton > Gallagher
Hope Armstrong realises it’s a team game again soon.
To be fair to Mowbray I would have picked the same side other than swapped Williams for Ayala. They’re a good side Norwich...
-
Great stuff. Lapse of concentration by Lenihan towards the end of the half could have cost us, but we have been by far the better team. Holtby running the show with Brereton again looking lively. Both fullbacks looking tidy, and Wharton putting in a mature display.

I'll take that point. A lot of injured players and a different, more direct, gameplan tonight. Although it didn't work, at least Mowbray adjusted at the break and we looked a better side in the second half.

Trybull is a poor man's Jermaine Jones.

Trybull has been awful, I don’t know what he does. Doesn’t break up play and does nothing on the ball, what’s the point?
Not watching Rovers - Boro?

Gallagher had a great opportunity to slip Brereton (?) through who would have been clean through. Tried to pass it around the defender with the outside of his boot instead of playing it straight through the middle.
-
Boro are a good side to be fair. Hard working and good defensively.

Nice from Dolan there, I think he’s been decent, couple things not come off but more involved than most
Not for me. Dijksteel has had an easy task against him and he offers no help defensively.

At the moment we're not, I agree. But there's no need to state there's zero chance when knowing a good run of form can change the situation around. I'm also worried about how our shape looks defensively, and we got found out by our lack team pressing today as well.
No one in here are managers at the top level, but who would have waited until the 65th minute to make changes if they were? No one I would assume. I often feel Mowbray hasn't chosen the right eleven, but this season I can't criticise him for it - but his ability to adapt to how the reality of a match changes is virtually non-exisitent.
