Great to get 3 points, but boy ,why do we have to line-up so negatively at home against an average team.
Still, up to 8th and 2 points breathing space.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend folks.

One problem with this game is that both teams look like they are playing for a point (with marginal incentive of nicking a one-nil).
Yeah, 76 mins gone and our last effort was 50mins.

Palmer on for Smallwood, let's hope he's in the mood.
-
Smallwood and Evans both on yellows now, surely one of them will be taken off soon, we need something different.

Attendance 13,294 ( away 564 )

This ref is card mad, 57 cautions in 9 games so far.
I think the BBC said he leads the table.
-
Luongo booked for a foul on Dack after 4 mins, let's hope he gets another.
Dingles losing at West Ham. 1-0.

Attendance 23,820 (1978 Rovers)
Not bad that.

Blades 4 Wigan 1
Well at least we'll stay above Wigan.

Yep. But then so is spending £7m on 'one for the future' when we have serious issues that need addressing in the present.
I really doubt it was tony Mowbray's idea to buy him.

Graham Potter outclassed Tony Mowbray in the 2nd half.
Great subs by him.
-
Well unless Graham was carrying a knock, it's a daft decision. Oh 3-1 now.
At least Wigan are losing.
-
Got to say I thought they might batter us in the 2nd half, they've done that a few times this season when they've got back into games.
But brilliant 3 points, well done the lads and TM.

I'll take the win as it's a long time since we won at Bolton and it takes us 9 points clear of the bottom 3.
Make no mistake, that's the end of the table we should be looking at, another poor performance, mainly
from the manager.

To be fair to Steve Bruce and Villa, they were 2-0 up and cruising until their best defender James Chester was sent-off on 54 mins.

So many straw men on here I feel I'm at a Wurzel Gummidge convention.
No-one thinks we'll get 27k or even close but with the right price structure we could add quite a few to the attendances.
Totally agree, a bit like Forest have done this season, I did wonder why their gates had increased substantially.

We need to be taking our chances, only ourselves to blame, we may be unbeaten in 25 at home, but far too many draws in that, (W 14 D 11).
Depressing result for me.

Lenihan and Downing centre half. That limits our ball playing our from the back that Williams, but in particular Mulgrew gives us. Not ideal, but against Daryl Murphy the two lads may be the best option. It's going to be a aerial and physical battle
Murphy ain't in the starting 11, not sure if he's on the bench ?

Why do Man Utd even bother playing football these days when hoofball is what they do best? ?
Aye and I see Fergie time is back, equaliser 90+5.

Well at least we got knocked out by a Premier league team, poor old Burnley eh !

Very disappointing to drop points at home to the worst away team in the league.
