Very odd
He's scored 2 in 4 so far this season, it's a very very poor standard though so can't get too giddy about this one!
According to soccerbase he made 6 appearances last season and scored 4 times, maybe he has a cracking shot on him or something.
You're right though poor standard.

Is there going to be an announment at HT ?

Just had a look on the brentford forums. Saw a couple of comments like "Imagine watching Blackburn every week.." and "Blackburn Parked the bus".
Can't disagree more, everyone is giving their all. If crunching tackles, high pressing and closing down quickly is ugly, well then I love ugly.
Their manager was complaining about the pitch too, quote :- " they'll be bringing the horses out to graze on that later"
I assume he was intimating we left the grass long to slow the game down, that Tony Mowbray eh ! he's streetwise alright.

I have to say I was going to post my prediction when I saw the team, I thought we'd be 0-3 at HT and 2-4 at FT.
Brilliant effort from the lads everything considered.

Must say how impressed how TM has turned them into a bunch of fighters !
Bang on !
The attitude of this squad is light years ahead of anything we've seen, since Big Sam for effort and togetherness.

Att : 12,094 (454 away)
-
QPR 1 Wigan 0 (Hemed)
-
Bolton losing 2-0 now to Sheff Utd at home.
-
TM seems to have a blind spot when it comes to Smallwood, Bennett needs to be in there, especially against a very mobile team like Brentford.
Let's hope Palmer turns it on today, he certainly seems to have the talent to do so.
-
Reading had scored one goal in 3 games, yet they manage to score 2 in the 1st half.
Wigan 2-0 up at Stoke.
-
-
10 mins in and we've had 3 chances already.
-
Wigan 1-0 up to Forest.
-
How many have we sold for this, anyone know ?
-
Tony Mowbray saying Dack was the difference tonight, " he's a very, very good player" he didn't like the fact that Carlisle had so many chances and
he won't be playing so many attacking players again, he just wanted to get a win and the game out of the way.
So expect Evans and Smallwood back for Hull.
-
Sounds like Rovers are being a bit sloppy defensively, Carlisle had 4 chances from the 45th minute including hitting the bar again.
-
Well they had a couple of chances and hit the bar before the goal, so not all one-sided.

Didn't score too many at brum, but intellegent fans would have noticed other aspects, such as his all round play and seen promise there.
I don't really know what to think, I haven't seen enough of him in the flesh, some have said he isn't great in the air for a big guy. but he did
score a brilliant header for Brum in one of the last games of the season and he seems to be a pretty quick once he gets in his stride.

Gallagher and chapman..clearly scouting system at rovers is shit...zero imagination
Apparently there was talk in Birmingham of them bidding for Gallagher towards the end of July, one of the sites/papers had a fans' poll......
Would you want him back ?
48% Yes
52% No
No idea how many fans took part, but pretty close, looks like the Brexit result.
Apologies if this has already been posted somewhere.

It's very true to say that the damage done to our supporter base while under the Venkys reign of terror is truly massive.
Lowest first home attendance of all four Lancashire clubs in the league.
Aye a bit surprised PNE got more than us but Wigan were playing Sheff Weds, so how many did they bring 3-4,000 ? against 851 from Millwall.

I see former Rovers Rhodes and Hanley both score today, although they lost 3-4 to West Brom
Rhodes also missed a penalty(shocker apparently) and sounded like Hanley missed an easy header right at the end to salvage a point too.
-
To be honest I thought we might lose this one, Millwall had some excellent results away from home last season, they played very well
against Boro and should have won last week, so I'm not too gloomy.
Just need some decent loanees in, asap.

Not so much, don't believe what you read. We started badly, but they didn't look great. Solid definsivley and reliant on set pieces. When we played a bit, we were well on top. Just no cutting edge. 2 poor misses by Graham and an absolutely atrocious cross/pass by Armstrong after he got in a great position.
I didn't read it I heard 2 different reporters say it, Rovers only came to life in the last minute of the 1st half.
The Talksport guy just gave his final report as I type and repeated... " Millwall dominated the first half and hit the post twice".
He also said a draw was probably a fair result.
