We're ace at passing it round in circles in our own 3rd.

Feels like that team was picked by a Burnley viewers poll.

We asked for 6k as it went. Maybe not a good idea.
Well that certainly clears that up.

Are we supposed to be impressed by the 4.5k.
Just you've mentioned it twice now, with no real relevance to any of the other words on this page.

Bournemouth didn't win it either, or Leeds. I wonder do their fans care
Very interesting to see how many of them have gone on to make it to the Prem.
Hull, Swansea, Leicester, Blackpool, Norwich, Brighton, Southampton, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, and Wolves.
And then potentially there is Leeds and Sheff Utd that could do it this season.
That is a way bigger list than I would have thought.
There's hope for us yet. Although, I suppose it could be argued that the gap is way bigger now than it was 10 years ago.

What if something was riding on our game though?
Not major, like maybe Europa League.
As much as that comp is derided, our first entry for almost a couple decades, a chance for a trip abroad to watch us play in some new places...........Nah, couldn't do it, let em win the league.
More interested in our club progressing.
If our game's a dead rubber for us tho, I'd have the canteen staff and the cleaners out on the field. ?

My 2nd team mate. No shame in that.
He means we get a nosebleed every time there's even a sniff of the Playoffs.
And "getting dicked" is exactly what happens each time it comes into sight.
Thus, your optimism is not shared on this board.

I do hope you'll come visit us end of season to face the music should the unthinkable happen.
Likewise, if u do take the trophy, I'llbe the first to congratulate you.

You seem extremely confident at beginning of Feb when the table has 5 teams within 7 points.
The picture can change very quickly in the space of 10 days with the midweek fixtures.

CP, how's it gonna feel when Sheff Utd steal the auto promotion spot?
A fellow Yorkshire club no less snatching that dream away.
Wow, that's gonna hurt.
You got that familiar sinking feeling?! ?

Brentford signed Maupay for about £1.5million
Sheff U signed Adams from non league for not much more than a box of crisps and then Brum paid about £2million for him
Rovers signed Brereton for £7million+ !?!?!?
I think the talent and potential is out there but clearly, in my opinion, Rovers' recruitment strategy / policy / execution is seriously flawed.
Meanwhile, on another clubs messageboard:
"But Blackburn got BD for 750k, Rodwell on a free, Armstrong for about a million, and DG for a reasonable price.
And they're now 8th in the league. We're spending tens of millions on players and more on wages but we're in the bottom half. We need to take a leaf out of their book"
Conclusion = football fans are whiny gits who think the grass is always greener.

Adams is only 22. Can play wide or upfront. Bring pace, power and finishing ability.

You can't say pace and power anymore...........apparently.
Do try and keep up with the rules and regulations. ?

I must admit I'm rooting for Utd at present. Never thought I would have said this.
Now that's an interesting stance.
How so?
I mean Ole is a likable fella.
Is it the comeback story? Phoenix from the ashes and all that.
Or is it just like most of rest of country? You hate Mourinho?

Hang on a minute, the lad's had a couple of good games against a background of a very chequered career regarding injuries and availability. Nobody will be knocking at our door to take him away on the strength of that recent record. If he's still doing the business in March then we should be thinking about a longer term contract. Three years after two games is just plain foolish, we're not back in the Prem yet.
In the current climate where even half decent players are going 15+ million, you wouldn't be concerned about someone coming sniffing for a bargain?
I would wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment if he was 30 and over.
But he's 27, which changes the scenario for me.

I was pleased when we gave him the chance. I thought it was a smart move on Mowbray's part, you don't play at the level he did without ability. I'm pleased he's doing well but he'd have play well and stay fit a bit longer before I start out handing him a 3 year contract. That's just foolish.
Then risk losing him to another club that will sign him up.

He is the worst signing in our history (even worse than mistakingly signing Milton Nuñez, a Honduran dwarf who fell over the ball on his debut and only appearance). He is also one of the worst professionals in history.
Why? Complete lack of application. When he was on the pitch he had an ability to hide from the ball, to make himself unavailable for a pass, would rarely make a tackle, wouldn´t track runners, would not compete for a ball, no fight or will. He was a passenger.
He was on 70k a week and couldn´t be bothered to apply himself. Made no effort to be a professional footballer.
Expect a litany of excuses. Don´t expect to win a game with him on the field. .......Welcome to the worst excuse for a professional footballer we have ever seen.
Sounds like this is written about a different player.
Crazy how players can perform so differently from club to club.
Hope we sign him onto a few years contract. Still a good age.

Very impressive result that against a team bang in form. My cousin text me and said you won at a canter. We didn't get out of the stalls till the 2nd half.
Good comeback win away from home. Saw you one down and figured it was the start of your wobble.
Norwich, Boro, and Swansea next tho.
Is this the time we start to see the familiar bottle job? ?

Galaxy didnt want to renew his contract - so take that how you want.
And I'd say MLS is around Championship level, if not a bit below it.
So, seems a strange one.

Out of interest and nothing to do with this thread but why has a leeds fan racked up 185 posts on a Blackburn forum?? ??
Because he's on a spying mission.
Bielsa is worried about the mighty Rovers surging up the table and meeting them in the playoffs after their inevitable late season plummet.
They leave no stone unturned you know.
Now everyone, keep shtum, don't give him any information. And for God's sake no-one mention our secret weapon Big Ben. An asset we've kept so secret up to now that I don't think he even knows he's a footballer yet. ?

Whatever you say about BB's football prowess, he's absolutely smashing the number of thread pages to minutes on pitch ratio.
Has any Rovers player spent so little time on the field and been talked about so much.
Maybe Vince Grella should hand his crown over like they do on I'm a Celeb.
