  1. Sam Dingle is going to need an extra job then
  2. He was wrong about Beckham...so he must be a dick? By that theory, Souey must be a giant walking penis for signing Grabbi. no, you don't understand, he still says Beckham is not playing well even now, he won't admit he's wrong has nothing to do with Grabbi situation , he was on TV and some were saying Beckham been one of best players in Spain, and then Toshack starts going on about one single game that Madrid lost and blamed it on Beckham, i saw the game and Zidane, Raul did nothing in that game, yet Toshack is consistantly saying Beckham is not doing well, he must be the only person watching Spainish football completely different theory
  3. Toshack what a dick, has anyone heard him lately, he predicted at the start of the season Beckham would fail in Spain, and now Beckham has been brilliant he won't admit he's wrong, "oh i saw a game they lost and Beckham was playing", Madrid are top of the league idiot, Beckham is one of top 5 players with asssists. And then he goes on to say "i wouldn't have sign Beckham if i was incharge", that because no manger signs the players at Madrid, no wonder he got sacked from Madrid.
  4. that's what i am hoping, maybe it will mean that we put more effort in to sign Pedro, Izzet and yes please Sutton, i know really we don't have allot of money but we obviously have fairly bad problems that these players could be the soluation. Mahon was poor today and average against newcastle, and with Cole with no goals for 20 games, we have little other options, Tugay and Flicroft need some cover and Izzet can also be a longer term replecement for Tugay. If we could get Izzet 800,000, Pedro 1million, and Sutton 1.5 million that would be a great investment but extremely unlikely we could get a three for such low prices.
  5. i don't think souness needs to be sack before we find out where do we go from here, Babbels needs to be signed, the left sorted and Gresko totally dropped like today, but the problem is the strike force as i noted above, Cole Yorke 33yrs old next year, Jansen couild never recover and Gallacher light wieght not proven and Grabbi 10million gone, strikers normally win games, i just don't see how we can sort it out. i can hope Cole and Jansen regain form but can't keep hoping forever
  6. not too much to shout about, Cole (cost 7million) has not scored in about 20 games and Jansen (4 million) has about 3 league goals in 18 months, not to forget the players starting, Yorke (2.5million) has around 9 league goals in 3 years and Gallacher only ever scored once, and then theres Grabbi (cost7 million) 2 league goals in 2 years. Blackburn has not exactly got the greatest strike force with over 20 million spent
  7. great quote by Rodney Marsh about England winning the world cup "all i want to say about England's Rugby players..... all they are....are average people with cauliflower ears"
  8. saw on Tv Bret Emerton and Mark V****a both say well done to England, nice touch, wonder if they would say that if they were not living in England
  9. i could never get into american 'football.' the fact you don't use your feet always confused me. i could never get into the American football tights
  10. i could never get into Rugby, the fact you can't though the ball forward like in American Football is too depressing,
  11. not only that, Friedel was playing amazing the best keeper in the league, and as a back for Neill and Gresko doing well, but the Short and Berg partnership was so solid, Duff on the left and busy Tommo on the right and then Sukur and Cole hitting form up front, but after that game Sukur was a let down and it was slowly down hill from there losing Sukur ,Duff, Berg, Short, Dunn and Tugay to age so far this season.
  12. Wash your mouth out pg! You obviously did'nt go to our opening game in the Prem at Crystal Palace then? Alan Shearer...... No 'getting fit', no getting used to the speed of the prem, no sulking, no homesickness, no lazy attitude.......in fact no nothing except the most consistent, clinical and devastating finishing that we have all ever seen week in week out! Gotta go I'm filling up........... "no getting used to the speed of the prem" maybe because it was the first day of the Premiership for everybody So AS was just some ordinary run of the mill striker and obviously quite some distance behind the 'world class' Turk that we were all soooo lucky to see in the famous blue and white shirts eh Chris? OK you have it your way. Next thing, you'll probably be trying to tell me that Martin Dahlin was once European footballer of the year I suppose? not sure what you mean, Shearer didn't have to get use to the speed of the premier league, he already played in the same league for Southampton the year before.

  14. whats different between the Souness and the Hodgson situation, both finsihed 6th in their first season in the PL, Hodgson was considered for England manager after the great first season, the both got things wrong, Hodgson however made panic buys which really cost him, i think Peacock and Amoruso are similar in quality, Perez and Emerton similar, and well we have no strikers signed so can't compare Davies
  15. has anyone remembered that we made question to Mr Williams saying, "we think the club is reelly reelly doing great and every is relly reelly lovely", i think if we could do the questions again they would be different
  16. i don't think Souness should be sacked, but i feel he's made allot of mistakes this year, i hope we don't end up in a Peter Reid situation where Souness has taken Balckburn as far as he could and now has lost the plot, if we lose to possibly the worse team in the league then where do we go from here, that was our strongest team, now we lose Cole, Thompson and Neill in the next few games coming up.
  17. don't even have the balls the name a replacement you pussy
  18. When was that, pray? I can't recall any. Instead of attacking personalities, why not address the issue? ok prove yourself, back your own words, name a replacement for Souness, if you don't then everyone can just see what a JOKE you truely are!!!!!!
  19. I admire your loyalty to Souness. But I repeat - look what happened to George Burley and Ipswich. A classic example of a well-loved (by most) manager doing a fantastic job (manager of the year - was he?) taking his team into Europe. The next season the team went on a disastrous run but crucially the board held fire because of what Burley achieved in the past. That loyalty was rewarded with relegation. And then they only removed Burley after a dismal start to the Division One campaign. When players lose confidence and the team slumps - they're are times when the manager has to go. That's not saying the manager is not good enough OR that it's his fault. It is simply an admission that psychologically the players need a change. Simply to revitilise themselves. Boro got it right when they brought in Venables after Robson was mucking up. Was Venables some football genius who guided Boro to safety? Almost certainly not. It was simply a new face with new ideas that the players responded to. As for who to replace with Souness. I would welcome Tony Parkes taking it on for a while until a someone can be found. i don't see how you can say Souness takes not blame, it all comes down to Souness, if a player is lazy of can't cross it is a player that Souness has bought or selected, Souness must be doing something wrong, to be honest i think that Souness is in a far better situation then Hodgson was when he got sack because Hodgson had half the first team injured, although i would not want to see Souness sacked, are the players losing faith, is he selecting the wrong team, are his tactics bad, has he signed the wrong players, Souness has to be responsible and has to fix the problem
  20. Good call. Didn't think he was a forward though? More of a creative midfielder. Left footed? he has not heart, in training he shows no desire and maybe thats why he does not play from quotes i have heard over the years, although he was meant to be the next Batistuta
  21. we don't need Berkovic or Dunn, we have Gary Flitcroft, he averages at least 2 goals and 2 asists a season
  22. i will agree some people are scared to be critical of Souness, me included, it does not feel right. If we lost the next 2/3 league games not sure how i would feel then
  23. my wish is for to name a suitable replacement
  24. next 5 games are key, 3 of these games there will be no Andy Cole
  25. maybe Souness just didn't know who to drop in midfield, also our strikers are doing @#/? poor in the last 3 or 4 games, it seems almost every team in the league has a range of good players, there is a fine line between winning and losing, i do think 1 win in 11 games is almost as bad as Hodgson's record but Souness needs time he will get it right, should have got a top striker however in the summer
