  1. Sorry for bringing this old chestnut up again, but have people seen how much it's going to cost to go and watch the Palace game down at Selhurst park? It's only 5 quid less than the Chelsea game. Yes, that's right 35 quid to watch Crystal Palace, that high flying, star studded, skillful football side. Maybe Andrew Johnson is asking for a pay rise? Corr blimey!

The price of the ticket is a joke and im sorry but im not paying for it. I forked out for the chels game, but this has gone too far. Call me disloyal, part-time whatever you want, but i aint paying £35 for the same seat which i sat in 4 yrs ago in div 1 for around £15. NO WAY mad.gif

  2. Well played to the Rovers in a very good result vs l'pool, in a game in which we could have easily snatch the 3 points. The crowd were excellent during the game and only the 5.15 (stupid time), stopped it being a full house.

Emerton was amazing, i'll have whatever he is on (as long as it legal)! As for Bothroyd, i thought he looked good when i went to Charlton and he sure has bags of potential. i hope he can use it further in the coming months.

  3. Huges out after 5 games are you MAD. Mods kindly lock this thread its embarissing

    withstupid.gif

not as bad as your spelling mate.

And if after 5 matches there are no improvements and instead the team is worse. What does that say about the manager?

And its not up to you, to tell the mods what to do. You ask nicely.

Yeh thats brilliant, concentrate on my admitidly woeful spelling rather then answering the question at hand. Actually if your spelling was 100% yourself then you might have something, but as its not.... wink.gif

Get behind the team and give hughes some time, its not his squad.

  4. I went y'sday and the atmosphere was dreadful. Ive honestly never been to a worse away atmosphere from our fans (that includes the 1-1 draw at pompey in league cup in front of 2,000 in 00/01 when we had won the 1st leg 4-0 and about 150 rovers travelled). Normally for away games you enjoy the atmosphere and singing when your losing etc. However there wasnt 1 chant y'sday and thats no exageration!!!! £40, riduclus catering prices (80p for a bag of crisps mad.gif ) meant an all round crap day. We were dreadful, djorkieff behind Dickov DOESNT work and stead and boythrod looked miles bettr. Negating our best attacking threat in emerton to the left wing to make way for the average reid wasnt exactly tactical genius either.

  5. Who's that team we call the Blackburn,

Who's that team we all adore,

We're the boys in Blu & white,

    And we're fuking dynamite,

Steve Cotterill's wife is a whore.

  6. I think I've been on that site before that alex sci fi mentioned.

    Preston a great atmosphere?

    Blackburn a mundane, lacklustre visit?

Hmmm...I do seem to remember that the author is actually a Preston North End fan. Do you think maybe that has something to do with his opinion or am i just being way too suspicious? dry.gif

Im sorry everyone but has anybody ever seen a site which is so obviously biased 1 way or another. He doesnt like Rovers that much is pretty clear, just from the games he chose to go to he is a preston fan.

For the other teams in our local area, he chose big games Preston at home vs Man city, Burnley at home to Preston and Bolton home to arsenal, but then Rovers vs Fulham. With the Preston game, he chose the game which happened to be their biggest crowd in yrs (22,000), a huge away support from city and a new stand opening, instead of perhaps Qpr home defeat on a tues night in January in front of maybe 11,000. Burnley preston was a big derby game which will obviously make a difference and Bolton arsenal was their 3rd/4th biggest game of the season.

So for Rovers what does he chose, a game on Sunday on tv, vs a london team with the worst away support in the prem. Then to add to matters we lose 2-0 and he sits in the Darwen end surrounded by the odd pidgeon and loads of empty seats. Perhaps if he had chosen 1 of the biggest games of the season for us in a game we did well in (say arse 2-0 02/03) then he would have had Ewood at 90 odd % rather then the bigoted score we have now.

    Rant over tinykit.gif

  7. I think its difficult for the younger generation like myself on who to deciede to vote for. In my lifetime of course, Ripley has been the best player, but do i choose him above Douglas who has got such great reviews from the older guys and sounds a Blackburn legend?

Someone says he still goes to Ewood Park and is a Blackburn boy, one of us then that'll do for me Douglas it is!! rover.gif

  8. I know mate, how the heck are we gonna get down for it. Ive decieded to stay at a BLackburn exciled mate who now lives in London on fri nite. Sky with these kick off times are really getting on fans nerves.
