i know!
As stated above, he is Sherwoods cousin but has repeatedly said even when we were pushing for the championship we couldnt fill the ground, and questions if we should be in the premiership.
I have been listening for talk sport for years, but can't listen to that chump.
This same fella the other day stated that pompey fans were arguably the best in the league, then low and behold they can't muster a full house when sitting high and mighty at the top of the premiership.

Three years ago Macarthy and Nonda upfront would have had most of Europe worried.
Worries me now!
Boro 0 Rovers 1
:-)
-
Rovers fans in fine voice...........Well done the 700!
-
Hope we don't regret these missed chances.
It's no good winning 5-1 or the like as that would mean a low crowd back at ewood
-
Another chance for gally, should have scored

Glenn (admin) can be heard on rock fm 5.30 and 6.30pm doing a little piece from salzburg.
My daughter actually contacted Gav, alas I think he must have been a little shy
Gav has sent me pictures( via phone)of rovers flags out there. I dont know whether to laugh or cry

Somebody on the official site is reporting it is being shown at the shawes arms london road preston.
This is possibly someone thinking it's on eurosport.......... any info would be welcome!

Cheers Manc blue, thought it was the same.
Calling it a day now and as I said before let's just hope for another chance in a few weeks

P.S miffed,miffed,miffed,miffed,miffed
Atko have you tried that eurosport travel one? Looking at their website it seems identical to neil's trip(detail wise)
-
Will there be a large demand for tkts for next weeks game from non season tkt holders when they go on sale tomorrow?
I'm just hoping there is and some of them will be booking on neil's trip as I'm dreading cancellation due to lack of numbers.

thats a tad harsh - his close control aint the best - but he has power and pace and a cracking celebration. I wish him all the best at Palace and think 2.5million is about 1.5million too much (but not that Im complaining)
I wish him all the best
I think Gav still hates palace

Is there a reason why the travel thread has been closed without comment? I would have thought this was a general thread and that was for that particular trip for people to ask questions. It would appear especially useful now that the clubs deals are so poor.
Thinking the same myself.

Anyone got any idea where waggy is??
I thought he would have been up for this trip.
I dread to think

Never- because I would never buy "a home ticket". I buy a season ticket to avoid this problem (cost per ticket £21.25 if I go to them all- which I probably won't). I support the club- rather than support another club (which you're doing with Sheffield United).
I have never not gone to an away game because of money. I don't go to Puke because it's too high and I have vertigo (it's also a pig of a journey). I don't go to Boro often because of the journey. Various others I might not go to if I have something else on (Robbie Williams on 14th September- which I'm trying to get out of)
I would think twice about going to some away grounds as the view's terrible (Anfield, some Chelsea tickets) Some I might not go simply because I can't be bothered (some home games too- if the truth be known). But I, at least, am honest about it. You hadn't reached "your personal limit" because you paid the money, then decided that you cared more for Sheffield United than you did Rovers. You took money from the club you CLAIM to support to give to one you don't. That's the black and white of it.
I'd have more sympathy if you'd said that you chose not to go to Chelsea but were going to Man City, or Wigan at home instead. However if, as I suspect, you say you'll be going to them (unless of course they're on telly when you "will reach your personal limit" again) just don't whinge about prices.
Far to personal......Get off your high horse!

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday I have to spend all day in the open, literally no shade, discussing bedding plant trials with customers. Being slightly follicly challenged today I'm going to buy a hat - style suggestions welcome!
Something the size of a marquee

Apparently journalists chose the winner at half time.

Quote from JW
"For two seasons on the trot, season ticket numbers declined.
"We are optimistic this year that we will be able to reverse that trend, get those numbers back and also add a few more."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If I am reading the above right does it mean that we are going to sell some 3,000 plus more than last seasons total. If so I think that's excellent news and better than I expected.
[Archived] Bowen For Norwich Job?
in Football Messageboard Archive
Posted
Accorcing to oddschecker.com it seems Mark Bowen is the clear favourite for the Norwich job. Early days in the betting stakes I know, but this is certainly something I would not want to see happen at this stage of the Hughes/Bowen partnership.
As with many good number 2's they always like to see if they can manage the number 1 slot and with Bowen's history with norwich it wouldn't surprise me if there was something in it.
