  1. Did you got to Lancaster Grammar? There was an agent who represented Rio Ferdinand who used to go to our school and came in to our school to do a talk on his career. It was January 2004.

He was the agent of Jamie Redknapp and very good mates with him but still said that Harry Redknapp was one of the most bent managers in the league. He also said that he'd never do transer dealings with Dave Jones because he's corrupt and only ever deals with one agent. At the time he'd just signed a client of this agent - Carl Cort for £2million in a deal he described as suspicious.

He also mentioned that Kevin Keegan and Graeme Souness were both in Willie Mackay's "back pocket." Lucien Mettomo anyone?

On the subject of Harry redknapp......... Read the book "Broken Dreams" by Tom Bower. Good old Harry my arse!

  2. One of my first ever away trips, must have been biggest crowd I'd seen up to then.

Actually went with my "Auntie" (bolton fan) on 126, double decker from Adlington.

I can remember the goal going in but not much else apart from a heaving embankment. Eeeee them were days!!

  3. The are alot of people who are between Rovers & PNE - maybe we should target those?!? They dont really wana support PNE.

I know a few people who have left rovers and gone supporting PNE because of the cost difference

North End issued free tickets to Schools in Chorley area the other week for their home game against millwall. It's something we don't seem to do anymore.

  4. "A number of tickets are by telephoning 0870 442 1994, tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis.  "

That was an update from their website at 14:00 today.  It presumably means a number of tickets are available, in fact it definitely means.  I hope they do sell out as it all puts money in the Rovers coffers, but they haven't done yet.

Surprised it said 6,500 tickets on thier website instead of 8,000 (approx)

  5. I notice that the upper tier of the East stand is divided into 6 blocks E331-E336. Rovers have been given an initial allocation of 6000 tickets .... so if we assume that each block holds a thousand and that they are being sold block by block (which so far seems to be the case) then with people reporting holding tickets for block E334 ...  over 3000 must have been sold so far.

We could be in to block E335 by now, forgot to mention when i got mine friday afternoon for block E334 the girl in the office said she couldn't give me any seats low down as there was only a few left for that particular block and they were up at the back. She also said they were taking it a block at a time and utd were being kept informed of our sales. Apparently it is possible to segregate fans in tier 2 if we send any back. Althogh saying that I believe utd are no where near a sell out yet.
