Ayala out for four weeks according to Mowbray. You couldn’t make it up given what Boro fans told us about his new year ‘injuries’. They thought we’d at least get a tune out of him pre Christmas though!!! -

I thought we’d win despite the make shift team, as I predicted pre match. Without fail Mowbray will win when the knives come out and so it proved. Delighted for Dack, we need to find a spot in the first 11 for him moving forward now. Davenport better start too. -

Well Mowbray trusted Williams rather than his physios and look how that ended up, Bigdogg. -

Start of a new year and Ayala is injured again. Boro fans will be laughing their tits off at us. -

100%. Sure he’s scored a few against us before too. -

If Travis gets injured today then Mowbray wants firing on the spot! -

Mowbray, without fail, comes out with a result everytime the heat is firmly on and the knives are out. I see this as being no different: Big Club 1 Rovers 2 -

We know from what the likes of Danny Graham have said since leaving us that Mowbray will be giving them the proper silent treatment right now. Withdraws himself and gets the right hump with everyone at the club (bar Travis it would seem). This behaviour has led to a turnaround in results pretty much every time to date - if it doesn’t on Saturday against Big Club then I think we can safely say he’s lost the support of the players. -

Not one word from our players on social media after last night, which is very rare for them. Usually the old ‘can’t wait to put it right at the weekend’ rollocks. First sign of Uncle Tone feeling a little heat if he’s told them to keep quiet? -

Just spat my tea out reading his quote which you have summarised superbly. Who the heck does he think he is?! -

Pleasantly surprised to see that sentiment is gradually changing on Twitter and Facebook towards Mowbray. Still seeing the same come backs from the Mowbray brigade though. ‘Who could we possibly get?’, ‘what’s he meant to do with all these injuries?’. A new one, ‘we don’t have the budget to compete with the better teams’. Yeah...let’s forget the cash he’s spunked over the past few seasons. Absolutely detest our ‘fans’ who talk about us as if we’re some tin pot club. Managers would be queuing up to manage our famous club - particularly when they’d have the autonomy that Mowbray does.
