  1. Forest will have won 1 in 4 after tonight under Hughton. No prizes for guessing who they beat. Sheff Weds getting turned over at Rotherham 3-0 too.
  2. People keep mentioning Esteves. Decided to look him up - he's only on loan from Porto, just 18. Imagine they won't have a chance of holding onto him unless they get promoted and pay big bucks.
  3. Oh absolutely. He'll vindicate his performance to them despite us not having a sniff of the play-offs, through the likes of Armstrong's potential value. What's the betting when Arma does go that TM will once again return to the 'Dacky off the big man' approach.
  4. Slow witted and slow in general! Unless Nyambe is back there we don’t have anyone with an ounce of pace. Yet we’re set up like we have Cannavarro and Maldini at the back.
  5. Perhaps Darragh is having one too many sleepless nights following the arrival of his new baby.
  6. Indeed. The excerpt from TM’s post match presser used on the official Rovers social media posts last night was: ‘we can’t defend like we did tonight if we want to win football matches.’ Our media team must just have that on copy and paste.
  7. Thought the new boys, Elliot aside, looked very underwhelming. Pears was out of his depth - another Mowbray favour to Boro (how many more to come?). Douglas looked okay going forward but very suspect at the back - his lack of pace means he tends to get caught out. Tree-bull was okay, but another who just got overrun. Doesn’t look to have a forward pass in him either. All just a bit meh.
  8. We’ve also won one in four at home. Four points from fifteen available too. Would hope there’s a tad bit of pressure on Mowbray but I won’t get my hopes up.
  9. From Rich Sharpe pre match: #Rovers used 27 players across the whole of last season, only three sides in the division used fewer. Aynsley Pears becomes No.26 of this season already, the most in the division. Been an ever-changing picture in these opening eight matches. Now I’m not professing to be Jurgen Klopp, but this may go some way to explaining our inconsistent performances under Tony Mowbray. The man is an over thinker who just cannot help himself with the unnecessary chopping and changing, square pegs in round holes rollocks.
  10. As I said, we’ve made him look like Drogba. I don’t want him here as he’s blatantly not a bloke you want in the ranks when the chips are down, but as for Sam Gallagher. Jesus Christ has hasn’t hung onto the ball for more than 1 second before losing it. So, so poor.
  11. An error prone oil tanker this season. Utter sh*te on the ball too. Not a chance Mowbray will drop him though.
  12. Joao 4-2. More awful defending. Where the feck was Lenihan chesting that to? Goodnight, chaps.
  13. The defending for that near-own-goal was once again simply diabolical. 3-4 times we could have taken ball and man but just pussied it.
  14. Wasn’t the easiest ball to deal with from RC but he literally just booted it behind. He is SO bad. Just get the bloke up front TM if you have to play him, FFS.
  15. Gallagher has had the ball three times and lost it within mili seconds, three times.
  16. 60 minutes in, 3-1 down and still he hasn’t made those subs.
  17. They don’t. We’re making Lucas Joao look like Didier Drogba. So pedestrian in midfield. Not a chance we’re getting back in this.
  18. Ah yes. The crab-esque sideways passing between the back four? Fecking sort it out Mowbray!!!
  19. I think they all are. Inexcusable first half. All over the place, tactically a shambles. And some think we’re going up?!
  20. Well it’s good to see Mowbray has sorted the defence out.
