Sheffield Wednesday - Chansiri shirt sponsor and stand sponsor

QPR - Air Asia shirt sponsors

Fulham - Visit Florida shirt sponsors (just so happens their owner is based in Florida)

Cardiff - Visit Malaysia shirt sponsors (their owner is based in Malaysia)

Ipswich - Marcus Evans shirt sponsor

Nothing stopping Venkys themselves or one of their friends in India signing up to a highly lucrative shirt, stand or stadium sponsorship package worth millions of pounds. Always a mystery why such wealthy and well connected businessmen have never delivered any tie ins with India apart from the odd few Venkys boards around Ewood.

Anyone want to buy a rovers shirt with venkys emblazoned on the front before entering the venkys Blackburn end ?

OK I generally avoid Lower Darwen as well is that accurate enough?

As for the London remark made an error there on the tower location. As some will know the "City of London" is the medieval historical centre of London with other administrative differences such as a separate police force from the Met, etc.

You are the most serious man I have ever encountered. Keep up the entertainment

Haha, very much agreed on Alex Song...

However, as a slight counterpoint, it's worth remembering that there is a bit of relative 'prestige' to the Championship. I just took a quick look and the average revenue per club is roughly similar to the top leagues in Japan, Mexico, and the Netherlands. (Our own revenue will be more like an average top division Danish or Portuguese side...) It's not a blot on the resume like League One could be considered by some players.

Now, we're not going to be one of the high-rollers looking to steamroll the league into the Premier League like a Newcastle, Aston Villa, etc. and we'll have to spend wisely (signing potentially over-the-hill former stars on pricey contracts is thus probably a terrible idea), but there is a bit more room for, let's call it 'fanciful imagination' when discussing potential player targets compared to last summer!

Once Tony gets the green light from India.

    Of the current squad:

    Raya - KEEP, starting keeper.
Leutwiler - indifferent. Adequate backup, could have better.
Fisher - KEEP, promote to backup keeper, or loan out, or keep in u23s in higher division.

Nyambe - KEEP, improved a lot this season, his shirt to lose at RB.
    Caddis - OUT
    Lenihan - KEEP, good aggression.
    Mulgrew - KEEP, Captain fantastic.
Downing - Adequate backup or promote youth in his stead.
    Ward - OUT.
    Wharton - Unsure.
    Hart - OUT.
Williams - KEEP, adequate backup at CB or LB.
Bell - KEEP, his shirt to lose at LB.

    Feeney - OUT.
Payne - Decent backup for Dack or as a passer from deep.
    Bennett - KEEP, Captain mkII.
Smallwood - KEEP, his shirt to lose at CM.
Evans - OUT, promote Travis in his stead.
    Whittingham - OUT.
    Gladwin - OUT.
    Dack - KEEP.
Conway - I would rather promote a youth player in his stead, but ok as a bench player.

Chapman - KEEP if poss, unbelievable potential.
    Antonsson - Indifferent.
Graham - KEEP for one more season.
    Armstrong - KEEP versatile forward.
Samuel - OUT, promote Butterworth in his stead.
Nuttall - KEEP but needs to put more muscle on.

Promote from u23s: Travis, Butterworth, one of the cbs.

IN (as minimum): A hard nut cb, a target man up front, a passer from deep in midfield.

In reality, reckon we'll need 6/7 signings/loans but unsure where to specify some positions.

Ditch nuttall and antonnson then totally agree

Wolves fans seem to believe that their long-standing captain Danny Batth will be shipped out this summer.  Interesting case as he plays CB, absolute unit but seems to be disliked by their new manager

He's also half Indian and has recently made a film that's due to be aired out there. Seems to have a bit of a following in India and with our obvious links,  may be one to watch...

Never heard of him but if he has captained that wolves team he must be a good un

Looking through their squad the only two that we could probably entice would be Ben Marshall- no thanks or Duckens Nazon- seems to like ewoodEwood

Is that the lad on loan at Oldham. If so he would be worth a punt from what I've seen which is only the goals highlights. Anyone know more about him

The thing with Dack is he is a phenomenal finisher. This season isn't a fluke. He rarely misses. Mowbray said earlier in the season he was the best finisher at the club and with someone like Graham here that's not a bad accolade. I think Dack could score in any league.

20 goals for a No.10 who didn't start playing until October is pretty incredible going.

    Fair comment.

If he does the same in the championship next year, you are talking 20 million plus. Cairneys stats aren't near that and 22milion was mentioned for him. If Dack gets 20 goals and double figures assists the fee would be huge. He is English too. Anyway, If he got that kind of return, we would probably be going up.

Not getting ahead of myself or anything lol

I suppose we will have to see the kind of inflation in player prices over the summer and winter . As of now I stand by what I said but in the crazy world of football who knows

Maybe not now, that's rather the idea!

Dack is a bit "Besty" isn't he which is probably why he is still  plying his trade in League 1 at this stage of his career. However if he doesn"t let himself go too much in the close season and unlike this season hits the ground running I see no reason whatsoever why he can't bag another 20 goals in the Championship. Then I would say those are the kind of figures you would be talking about, particularly if transfer fees continue to go through the roof generally.

Someone told me a month or two ago that he had the best percentage stats of any player in Europe at that point  in terms of scoring  and contributing in goals for other people combined. No idea if that is true or not.

I agree if he does what he did this season in the championship then 15 million is a ball park figure. This summer if bids do come in your looking at around 6-8 million. Let's hope they don't and if they do the venkys have more sense and see the bigger picture

Brighton bid £10m for Wigan's  Powell in January.

They did doesn't mean people will bid that for dack. No way is he going for that kind of money. Although to contadict myself it would take that kind of bid to be taken seriously but I don't believe clubs would pay it if that makes sense. Hence why he will stay at rovers
