We are being set up for one big disappointment mark my words. Carvahal was never a serious target for these jesters; we simply couldn't afford him/meet his demands. Enter stage left some plonker!

And now Carlos Carvahal is rumoured to be the favourite according to Football League World but "no decision has yet been made".

Wrong show dude...
You are correct. I meant to say "You are my next Partner" in which case "I'm fired" as far as BRFC is concerned!!!!!!

I'm a bit worried that Carrick features prominently in the betting at 12/1, makes Ferguson look like a managerial old hand with only 3 games managed as a stand in.
So we're seemingly interested in two guys who have managed a grand total of eight games between them. I don't really get the attraction of that type of appointment.
Pathetic if true

FERGUSON?
Is this is true, in the words of Lord Sugar "I' m out"

As manager? Agreed, he obviously hasn’t, but we all know how Venkys listen to certain people, and perhaps Myers is one of those people.
I would not be surprised if Ferguson ends up getting it.
I hope not!!!!! 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤

Re - Duncan Ferguson, I wonder if Alan Myers is still in contact with Venkys? I can’t help thinking that he will be the one pushing Ferguson’s case.
Ferguson? He has proved nothing to date the Mgt

Ferguson doesn't interest me on his own, but alongside Unsworth I would raise an inquisitive eyebrow and a sage stroke of my stubble.
?? Explain please

Following a successful interview on Monday I believe the job has been offered to carvahal if he wants it, now taking a week to mull it over, has other options
That's that then!

Well done Leeds and Newcastle on relegating Burnley back to the championship. Welcome back to the Championship.
They need massive decisions over the finances of the club and next managerial appointment plus the playing squad decisions.
Yes Burnley have to pay back a loan of 65 million pounds back now.
Mowbray??

Been hoping for this result for weeks now!

I wouldn't rule out Ainsworth. Perfect Venkys. Cheap ( and now available)

Yeah that's what worries me, I would have thought ainsworth is still in contract so would be compensation, but happy to be corrected. Don't get me wrong I'd back him if he came in, we've been linked with a lot worse but I just think we need a more experienced and reputable name to sell some season / gate tickets and attract the talent needed to complement who's in place already and play an improved game.
Don't disagree but we are stuck with Venkys!

Think we deserve better, we've been there before and we won't get out this division with that style of football.
Ticks all Venkys boxes. No compensation needed and comparativeley cheap

Corry Evans back in the Championship and at Ewood! (Unless they get rid)

Now that Wycombe remain in League One I wonder if Ainsworth's thoughts will turn to the Rovers job?
Which utterly brilliant manager will we be delighted to welcome next?

That's good news but more disappointment when the inevitable news breaks that we haven't signed him
