Looking at the odds and it seems there has been barely any change to the names in the top 10 'favourites' or their order for about a week now since Farke dropped down the list and Carvalhal found his way to the top of it.
Usually you might expect a new name or two to drop in the odds or someone to rule themselves in or out.
Suggests to me either that very little is happening or if it is it is being kept under very close wraps.
I think it's the former - sadly

Bell has improved defensively under a different manager.
Beaten by an ex Rover though. He is League One standard at best

Luton dominating Huddersfield but still level so I fancy Huddersfield to sneak this one
Come on Huddersfield! Can't bear the thought of Amari 'Bell in the lay off final. Useless!!

The odds make me laugh on Skybet:
Michael Appleton - 20/1 (Surely he's not done anything since leaving here to justify another go)
Rob Edwards - 25/1 (Hasn't he just got the Watford job?)
Sam Allardyce - 33/1 (This would seem fairly unlikely)
Odds are irrelevant. It's all about punters taking a chance on bookies. That's what drives the odds

Me too but his stock has fallen badly since his time at Forest. I don’t know much about what was going on there. Did Cooper transform the club completely or did Hughton lay the foundations ?
The latter. Cooper is a top, top Manager

Read somewhere that Dyche wants to be in football management but says its difficult finding a job. Thinking back to his telephone conservation with TM, he's probably been warned about the way Venkys operate so wont want to come anywhere near Ewood.
Dyche won't come anywhere near Ewood! Why would he given the poisoned chalice it is? Keep dreaming though if you enjoy the experience

Sea Bass on a Thursday night, wow!
Seriously, one of my favourite fishes.
Because Sea Bass has a mild/delicate flavour, I'd go for a Sauvignon Blanc with fresh juicy gooseberry/grapefruit flavours with a lingering finish. You should be able to pick up a very decent bottle for about a tenner. Usually, Booths / Waitrose have some terrific offers on for this type of wine.
£10 for a bottle? £7 is way enough for me!

@glen9mullanThe rumours atm all seem to suggest that the managerial search has only just begun, with shortlists being drafted up and interviews soon to be scheduled. Whilst this wouldn't be surprising, given there is still no official statement about TM, you said you heard Farke was in the picture back in March. This goes against the current consensus as it suggests there HAS been some planning going on behind the scenes, albeit perhaps w/o any of the boards involvement.
Do you believe, as the reports suggest , we are playing catch-up again or do you think an appointment is imminent?
Catch up - end of

Just emailed Venkys in an attempt to get clarification about Mowbray/his replacement etc. Not holding my breath for a response

It’s interesting to see every article from Sharpe saying he’s done, was his last game at Brum, TM confirmed his exit etc.
But for me his statements have all (purposely) left a bit of ambiguity in them from what I’ve read. Still a fair chance he’s staying
Sadly!!

See Tony is touting for a new Contract saying he would have definitely signed if one had been offered in January. This isn't over yet!!!!

Mowbray is contracted till end of June, what worries me about the venkys is that they might think that they don't need a new manager in place until then.
They won't need a replacement if he signs a new contract!

Yep. It's important we don't sell Phillips imo.
BBD I'm a bit worried by. Didn't show much in the second half of the season. I'm normally dead set against selling any of our best players no matter what the cost but I'd be fairly ambivalent now if we got £20m for him.
Agreed. Had a purple patch but we need more than that

He’s about to treble his wage and set his family up for life.
10 goals in 149 appearances for Rovers. He is decent squad player - nothing more. Should have accepted the £4M offered by Bournemouth in January. Will be very interesting to see if they come in for him again now that they are in the Premier league

Heard today waggott has resigned and given three weeks notice, Venkey’s will pay compo for Ainsworth. Don’t want you all to go into meltdown, just something that’s been passed on.
I wish!!!!!
