"No, we said we were a club close to Manchester's city"

" No I don't think that was a funny way of phrasing it"

"Look, just get in the back of the van and we can disuss it on the way"

"Just sit on the bag of cenment"

"Ok, well it was a one-way ticket so good luck getting home,.. Oh you have money? Could you lend us ยฃ50 for diesel and will send it be when we back"

poor val.im`e sure he did`nt realise what a ****show he`s ended up working in

Not sure why you would think this.

    1. He is under no pressure to succeed.

    2. He has a 3 year deal and is unsackable because we have no money, so if he does leave at any time in the next 3 years it will be on his own terms.

    3. Owners don't give a shite.

    4. Fanbase divided between people just happy there is a club to go and support on Saturdays and fans who blame the owners (correctly) for everything going wrong with the club.

I would say he cannot believe his luck.

But again how can he be surprised? The JDT saga was played out in the media to the point he was essentially gagged. JE leaving again a team in playoff to a team in relegation

val would/should have done his research on rovers itโ€™s all there to find so he would and should have been wary as to what he was walking into. Manager out of work just want back into workย

He did do his homework, he got a 3 year deal. He is probably the least sackable manager in world football. We cannot affort to sack him. He could pick himself and his son as the front two and we will have to suck it up.

Which is it Chaddy ? At one point in that post you say โ€œ We donโ€™t need a centre midfielder โ€œ, later on you say โ€œ Weย need a centre midfielder signing โ€œ.

Did the club do a presser while he was in the middle of his post?ย

Chaddy: We don't need a centre midfielder.

Club: We are currently tracking 3 options for CM.

Chaddy: We need at least one new CM.

As OssyDave says he makes mistakes last season.ย

No I wouldn't him back. I would like see more of Toth now,ย

I am not convinced with Toth, I hope I'm wrong but I predict calls for Pears to back in goal before end of October.

    ย

That anyone would say they don't want Kaminski back because Toth played 10 games at the back end of last season is insane. Kaminski is a proven Championship (and was fine in the Premier league) Goalkeeper.

I'm sure Phillips is quite happy with his pay packet since that, in football, is what's important to him.ย  This is such a distasteful "rule". As if the big boys needs more help rounding up (stealing) talent.

People were talking about this lad being a generational talent before he left us. Clearly not even close.

With Scott Carson leaving City, maybe they'll want to fill the void with Pears.....

I've no idea if any of our reserve keepers are remotely good but I can't see Pears wanting a full season playing second fiddle, can't blame him either at 27 he's in his prime.ย

I wouldn't end up being surprised to be honest given our 1st team keepers for the last few years?

    ย Pears - Who knows?

Kaminiski - Played Regular Premier league fooball season before last

Walton - Played Premier league football (only a bit) last season

Steel - 1st choice GK for a Premier league team season before last

Raya - 1st choice GK in a Champions League team.

    ย

I think I missed one between Raya and Steel, but still. If I played GK for Rovers I would buy Lotto tickets.

    Ah, I see.

A scenario: man woos a woman, the woman falls for the man, they marry and make their legal covenants to each other. The wife then gets tempted by another bloke with more cash and pisses off.

A question: do you reflect on the warm memories of the good times or do feel aggrieved at the treatment you received?

Personally I'm enraged by the actions not placated by the memories.

Being honest, I'd just be glad she's gone. ๐Ÿ™‚ย

Will he? given that most of the scouting especially overseas will be done by watching Videos of games and using Wyscout to find players which alot of clubs used to find players.ย

Ismael has been clear what he wants in terms of players qualities and attributes like Pace.ย

Yes we are looking overseas for what we want cos the market is cheap in terms transfer fees and wages. I'm sure we will be looking domestic for players but how many good pacey players can we get for our budget here. How much would a Tyler Goodham cost us this summer or Sirki Dembele cost?ย

    ย

The problem is that pace is so highly valued that the only pacey players this club is going to capture for VI will have absolutely no other talents.

It's all depends who adapt the conditions in USA, Canada and Mexico.

Wide open at this stage for me. Ancelotti in charge of Brazil will be contender, Argentina, Spain, France, Germany and us.ย

Italy have just sack their managerย

Do you not think Brazil should be managed by a Brazilian?

havenโ€™t seen any movement on that player we were in โ€˜advanced talksโ€™ with but I guarantee weโ€™ll see movement on selling Travis. Weโ€™re all over the sales but buying players no.ย

I wonder what we will spend the 3 million on:

    Electricity.

    Going away party for Waggot.

Microsoft Excel training course for Gestede.

loan deal for a 16 year old Liverpool player that will be ready for Championship foolball in 4 years.

More Indian solicitors to see if they can push the court date out even further.

Should probably start a thread on how soon Ismael will be pissed off enough with the clowns to leave. The way the transfer window is shaping up it could be before the season...

    ย

The only reason the other two went was because one said he didn't want a payout and we actually received money for Eustace

Nobody's taking Ismael off our hands and he has a 3 year deal, if he has us in relegation to league 2 in October 2026 they might pay off the rest of his deal as there will only be 12/18 months left on the deal.
