That’s it isn’t it. When he had a little bit of criticism it was when we were getting overrun. He’s so far clear as our best ‘footballer’ so we should be building a midfield around him and let him do the creating.
I think most managers in the Championship would build the whole team around a player of that talent, so either JDT doesnt see it or knows that he is off as soon as we get a half decent offer and doesnt want to have to start again?

I know Wharton (Adam) had his doubters but there’s no doubt in my mind he’s going to the PL next season regardless of what we do. Up against this lot and he’s still so classy on the ball.
Yep, as I have said numerous time, looks better in a 3 than a 2.

Despite the recent misses Im getting more positive about Leonard. Hes making good runs and showing good strength and ability against quality centre backs.
Had a few chances against the Chelsea centre backs as well.

Our full backs are Brittain and JRC, we just need our midfielders to step up and be Championship midfielders.
This will allow us to play Hyam & Hill in the centre for the rest of the season...
Pickering on the bench, with Carter.
Boom...
I think people are overly harsh on Pickering am I the only one?
He is not great and he is slow but there is no protection on that side of the field and I think he generally does ok.

For both unfortunately.
He can take all of it for the first goal I am only accepting the blame for the second 🙂

We’re playing half a billion worth of 11.
Take a breath and just try to enjoy it a bit like the fans in the away end are.
He's Irish, we get all our happy just to be participating from our national team.

Absolutely terrible from Brittain (I’m right in line with the Chelsea fans), terrible.
This could be a massacre now they have the second.
He received the ball under huge pressure.

Surely Ennis is capable of 28mins?

I know, I am sorry. But our keeper takes some of the responsibility.

I know I will regret this, but if by some twist of fate we ended up with Sterling on loan I would be disappointed.
Sorry!!

He is the gally type of no.9
Now lets find some morons that are willing to give us 5m for him 🙂

Harry Leonard is not a goalscorer.
He's must be close to a double digit number of (sitters/1vs1) missed chances already this season.
If he is not a goal scorer then what is he? You are right though he misses far too many regardless of how young he is.

Still very much in this. The only player looking out of his depth for me so far is Moran.
You need your keeper to play a blinder in these ties and that wasn’t it.
Moran is the only player looking out of his depth? you dont think anyone else looks out of his dept?
Our keeper looks like he has just received a graft of hands for the first time in his life and he is slowly learning to use them.

Is it still a war chest if it barely buys you a pack of water bombs and half a dozen off-brand super soakers?
He meant Wart Chest.

Only reason I can think him not giving it from his angle is cos Chelsea player turned his back.
Somoene said it earlier, Refs are probably used to letting things like that be decided by VAR so he didnt blow initially.

Fuck me. No VAR I take it?
Linesman is on that side of the field, no need for VAR that was pathetic.

why would I ever predict a Rovers lost?
No its is not insane at all. We need to brave and show no fear unwise we will lose this game before we get on the pitch
Well maybe you are braver than me but I was terrified playing against a big premier league club with a goal keeper who is more accident prone than Fran Spencer.

Chelsea score
Looked piss poor from our keeper

Sterling is an expensive Dolan isn't he? Occasional briliance and tonnes of running around like a headless chicken.

Travis in midfield. My god , please prove me wrong
Be positive, maybe he has the game of his life and that moron Todd Bohly buys him off us for £50m, and the venkies let us keep £400k for players in January.
I tried.

I think we will beat these 2-1. Garrett to score..
Is his team selection going to be stronger than Saturday team? No it's not. Nothing to fear there.
Sorry, this is insane whether or not you think we can get a result.
To say nothing to fear from a team that cost the guts of a billion to put together vs a team that likely will have cost sub 5m is foolhardy.
They have wasted a lot of money but we would have something to fear from each and every established Premier League club, we got a great result against West Ham last season but they were heavy favourites and the team that takes the field tonight will be miles off last season's team through lost players and injuries.
