I don't think Telalovic has played poorly at all today - linked play up well, had a shot blocked on the line and was inches away from converting a cross.

I think he has done ok, Not sure he is ever going to get 15/20 goals in a championship season though. We have more pressing issues unfortunately.

Leo has the attributes to be a good keeper but I can’t remember seeing anyone as bad when I ball is floated into the box, his punches are weak and into the wrong areas, he flaps and is rash with his decision making.  He seems intent on making contact with the ball with no thought about where it’s going to end up. The communication between him and the defence is appalling. If he can’t sort this side to his game he will be a top keeper but it’s painful watching him at the minute

I didnt want to say anything but in the first 3 minutes he punched a corner straight down onto the penalty spot. He needs to be taken out this must be destroying his confidence. Its not doing mine any good either.

Not sure if off-track or bang on match thread.

Arsenal fans on social media calling for Arteta to be sacked after 3 losses in a row! Apparently they always play the same way every game so opposition clubs have worked them out. Generally boss possession, create loads of chances but fail to take them! They want to walk/pass the ball into the net. No real goal-scorers in the team, Saka leads with 6?

    Does this sound familiar?

Spent money to downgrade their keeper and Venkey have watched both teams live the same number of times in the last 10 years

Rotherham yet to win away this season.

What could possibly go wrong? 😉

I was feeling optimistic until I read this.

Dry January has already left me white knuckled staring at the drinks cabinet and an embarrassing defeat might kill it in its infancy.

Huddersfield have executed a game plan extremely well, no slight to them, fully deserving of the three points.

I disagreed with those at the beginning of the season predicting a mid table finish, but it’s clearly where we are.

Ho hum, life goes on, I’ve hopefully 50 years of loving Rovers and hating Venky’s, still to come.

    Game plan:

    Turn up

    Win

    ??????

    Collect 3 points.

Glad you are looking forward to another 50 years of Venkys, some on here don't have the luxury.

My real worry with JDT is that he’s so welded to his style of play, that he won’t even abandon it to win in favour of pragmatism, on principle.
Surely, winning is the name of the game?

Im starting to have concerns that we’ve no hope any more, based on the above.

I am not being argumentitive (hopefully) but what style would suit this team? There is no pace, no striker worth mentioning, Our keepers are dogshit so we can't absorb pressure, There isn't a pair of bollocks betweem them so we are not winning a street fight.

This is the syle of play thatbest suits these players. I am not a huge fan of the manager but I honestly can't see a way out.

We said at the start of the season that after all the hard work of a few years ago building up the keeper dept they'd gone and weakened it again.

We are now right back at Jason Steele/Jake Keane level and not blowing my trumpet but during the clamour for Leo to replace Pears i warned exactly what to expect.

    On this occasion i'm right.

    You were not alone!

Savage wasn't hard. Todd wasn't either. He was just a stupid thug. Apart from those already mentioned, off the top of my head Mickey Speight, Lucas Neill, Ryan Nelsen, Howie Gayle, Nicky Reid, Colin Hendry, Henning Berg, Gael Givet, Alex Baptiste, Jermaine Jones, Michel Salgado, Aaron Mokoena. Proper hard men.

We haven't had a proper hard man for a long, long time. Travis? Ha ha ha

    David Batty?

Kevin Moran was tough as fuck but not nasty.
