Pickering and Leo at fault there. I mentioned on another thread that a nervous keeper will lead to nervous defenders.
And Terrified fans!

Oh My God!
The first was not his fault but that was.

Recalled? I suppose the 1 goal in 14 games in league 1 looks like a hot streak compared to our strikers 🙄

- I think something along these lines was mentioned earlier, but The Athletic is reporting that we've had two loan bids rejected for Orlando City striker Duncan McGuire, and are expected to be make a third loan bid (amid interest from FC Nantes, FC Utrecht, and RWD Molenbeek): https://theathletic.com/5177729/2024/01/04/mls-january-transfer-window/ (might be paywalled). 15 goals over 37 appearances in his rookie MLS season.
- On O'Riordan's incoming, worth noting he's cup-tied for the FA Cup. May relate to the debate on holding on to Hill for one more weekend. Doubt we'd want to risk Hyam and presumably S. Wharton won't be ready. Perhaps time for Gamble...
That's risky.

That Pears is worse than Leo.
He isn't though is he?

This! Totally agree!
It's worth remembering he is less that a year younger than Pears but Pears has been getting pelters for a couple of years on here while every second post on here is that Leo needs time/was thrown in before he was ready.
What am I missing here?

I always assumed he and BD were Rovers fans...
Mr. Cohen was always a bit of a fan of misery, what better club to support.

If they need him to get a confidence boost then surely we should be making a cheeky enquiry. He knows the club, the style of play, and will play every week. Obviously, it's tough competing against Premier League teams but worth a shot. Gregg could always throw in a Duolingo 'Learn Spanish' subscription to sweeten the deal.
Can't afford the course let alone his new wage packet.

That was the most predictable outcome ever.
I didn't think he would get a PL gig to be honest. Thought he would end up on loan at a mid table Championship Club.

Perhaps he has found our tough medical a bit much ?
Are you injury prone (tick the yes or no box)
[Yes]. [No]✓
He passed the medical, must be noone to sign the cheque.

I think the only one we need to sell is Travis. If he can’t get in this team, with one win in eight, he is better to move on. It’s best for all parties.
It looks like we’re replacing Hill with the Crewe lad.
Realistically, I’d expect us to replace Travis if we sold him and we could do with a couple of forward on Loans.
Im going for…
4 out - Trav (sold), Hill (recall), Leonard (loan) and Markanday (Loan)
4 in (Crewe lad (buy), CM (buy /loan), 2x forwards (loan)
Selling to fund loans sounds like suicide, what do you do next season to replace the loans? Sell more? Follow that on to it's natural conclusion l.

And he'd be so far behind A. Wharton and Szmodics that he'd just be at the awards ceremony for a jolly.
Not sure Wharton would be up with Sammy for me, I feel like he has been out best player by a country mile. After that it's a close one with Wharton and Tronstadt.
Still opinions are like arseholes in that everyone has one.

He's trying to get himself sacked.
He is wasting his time, he could take shit on waggot's desk and the owners won't pay him off.
Might go by mutual consent if a club comes in for him.

And rightly so, they have fucked him over.
Sorry I wasn't really critising, but I don't believe for a second JDT thinks anything will be made available I think he is done and is saving his reputation.

Absolutely spot on, a manager with the bollox to call it out too and not interested in protecting his own interests.
👍
Sounds like he is protecting his reputation. Not my fault gov they fucked me over. Gis a job?

When they start saying "Rovers are too good to go down", we know we are fucked !
I don't think anyone is saying that 🙂

After blaming the fans the commentator now says its a precious point.
Too much expectation.
It is a precious point, we are in nothing but a relegation dogfight and preventing Rotherham from closing the gap might count at the end of the season.

Didn’t he score a 30 yard screamer in off the bar. Not seen it myself but that’s what I heard
No point us doing it, our keeper can only kick the ball 6 yards (on all evidence) 🙂
