Yeah true, perhaps I’m being generous and ‘academy bias’ there.
I just really don’t want to be watching Pears, Wahlstedt, Brittain, Hyam, Buckley, Gallagher next season. They’re all so so so soft, and barely, if at all, Championship quality.Their quality shouldn’t be a problem next seeing as they won’t be playing in the championship

If things don’t change dramatically it’s hard to see how we can stay up next season.
We need at minimum 8 quality Permanente signings through the door in the summer. We won’t get it but that’s what’s needed

In all seriousness I can’t name a team in this league I’d fancy us not to lose to at the moment. You need to score goals to get results and apart from Sammi nobody even looks like scoring.
Can young Leonard get a run out again? It’s appalling how bad Gally is every week. In fact I’d rather us run the U 20s + JRC, Sammy, Carter, and Trondstad out there. We’d at worst see some effort

For me, that was even worse than the Bristol City game. Attitudes appalling all over the pitch. Fucking shambles.
It’s getting very difficult to pick out “the worst” game. But what’s becoming clear is this season is the worst season in half a century. When you consider we were nearly top 6 last year, the performances in the pitch, sold players, and the remaining players attitude and commitment you’d be hard pressed to find a worse 12 months.

Gallagher on a cool 0.1 goals per game in the league this season.
Give him a fresh contract!

Can’t understate how massive Szmodics has been. 30 goals and every one of them have been needed.

Chrisene incident not Bamford. I'm on 6 and a half minutes. Lol.
There’s nothing in that. You give that penalty there’d be one on every corner.

Stonewall penalty for Leeds denied according to Chris Iwelumo.
I'm sure Exiled will will suitably grateful we've been favoured by the officials as always!
Neither a penalty. Players flopping around at every chance. Never a penalty

6 min to hold on massive 3 points this. If we stay up Sammie deserves a statue

Carter absolutely has to take his place in the remaining matches.
I’d start Jim Carter over him after that performance

It’s not just points it’s that there are 5 sides between us and the bottom 3. Most of which are worse on GD. Not safe yet but with 5 left it’s looking less bleak. A win on Wednesday and we should be comfortable going into the last 4.

Under Eustace he looks back to his best from a few years back.
Like the rest of the side. Not suited for the passing in our own box

Good point. A win on Wednesday and it will be an excellent week

Gallery summed up in two plays. All alone for a header and doesn’t have the awareness to get it to Szmodics…then works his socks off ein it back and create our best chance
-
Best Wharton has played in a while.

No need to Ferk around at the back. Not our strength.

Good first half. Defensively not a lot to worry about, but we need to make more of the chances when we pinch the ball in midfield
-
Hedges done his hamster again. Season over for him. Szmodics soldiering on. Walking wounded out there.
-
Palace robbed us and it wasn’t hard since Venkys and Waggot left the door unlocked and the door ajar.

What is clear is that the team plays far better when he is in the side ...
In large part because we don’t have any other option. That doesn’t necessarily mean we should look to strengthen…of course that’s hard to do when offering peanuts for wages and fried check for transfer budget
-
Massive 3 points. Hopefully this performance and the result take a bit of pressure off the side and they can play like this more often. Staying up is important and hopefully, probably blind hope, there’s a large pot for transfers this summer.

All down to Pears that one. He's cost us today, just as he did at Portman Road.
The performance was decent overall but we have a shocking GK and no attacking quality.
0 wins in the first 10 games for the new manager. Has to be the worst start to a managerial reign at this club ever?
Difficult to win when you can’t score and can’t keep the ball out of the net

But the players are so much happier now, full of confidence and happy with the style of play, without the demanding JDT, so all in all a much better state of affairs now with Eustace. According to the group of Senior Players. End of story, many thanks.
Show up collect a pay check no desire or push to improve
