  1. Probably his best position. He doesn’t have the pace or crossing ability for a wing back in a back 3 formation.
  2. They’ll probably appoint a manager, sign a player and Sack said manager before we pay a fee for a player!
  3. It was only 2 years ago he was voted Sunderland's play of the year and they couldn't get rid of him fast enough...only for Norwich to come it and get a whopping 16 appearances. I think we were lucky to get from him what we did this past year. A one year deal, sure but anything longer than that. When he went to Norwich we thought Sunderland was going to buy him out and just let him sign for us for nothing. Point being is was very good for us, deserves an contact but is also replaceable and not a long term solution....but this club doesn't do long term solutions, only stick their finger in the current hole in the damn sort of shite.
  4. https://media3.giphy.com/media/twM4JhOZqs4LmviE3V/giphy.gif?cid=9b38fe91z3sbj76l73iy3phhyn1ktc2h5lvrq52jcew93x97&ep=v1_gifs_search&rid=giphy.gif&ct=g
  5. Predict we will make no signings, before preseason, have all out of contract players walk for nothing, then with a week left in the window bring in 4 premier league academy kids to block our own and 2 last minute signings of players no one has heard of.
  6. Seeings as how I placed 100 quid on us being relegated at the start of the campaign, finishing 7th seems like a great accomplishment. However knowing where we were in January and what transpired since then this can’t feel like anything other than a let down. This should be viewed as a spring board into next season, but I can’t help be feel it’s a dive off the spring board to lower depths.
  7. Very costly if you figure in what not being able to direct that header today in the far post cost us. That one moment alone could have paid for itself 10x over
  8. No idea how you think the final push can include Forshaw over Trondstad. Forshaw can’t run and has scored 1 in 4 years.
  9. We didn’t miss out on playoffs because of the draw today. We missed out because our owners ran off our manager in February and we subsequently went on to only pick up 4 points from the next 24 possible. The owners are 💯 to blame. Eustace knew the “substantial investment” wasn’t anywhere near enough and it proved true today after the fire power of Forshaw, Kargbo, Woodrow, and Dennis came on for the final push.
  10. Spending the Wharton sale money on his wages is disgraceful
  11. What were we paying Dennis for that playoff push?
  12. Can’t help but feel this will be a heart breaking loss. Our record when the games really matter is not good. Any and every time we sniff playoffs we seem to crash to the ground. Hope it’s different this time, but trying to temper my expectations.
  13. 2 years in a row with all to play for on the last day…likely outcome is the same, but happy to be here vs 1 season ago
  14. Any time we’re within sniff of top 6 we revert back to this shite
  15. Really poor by Hyam to concede that corner.
  16. Nothing should give us any hope or expectations to win the last 4. We’ve picked up 5 points out of the last 36 possible. Anyone dreaming of more than 4 points the rest of the way is delusional
  17. No. What would give us any expectation of that?
  18. 11 min. Let’s just play another half, ‘eh?
  19. Already figured out the owners are shite and trying to force his exit…my guess
