They could of course share logins with anyone but it would be pretty irregular for the secretary or CEO to not be the ones handling this. They do at every other club in the country.

If that’s the case he’s as big a fool as the rest of them

Nixon and his “others may be better line”, from the man who brought us “you’ve got a wee gem there”

To be fair he’s probably back in Orlando by now

I feel a bit for Moran in so much as I don't think he’s been played in his natural position. He looks like a 10 to me, who will drop off a central striker to receive in pockets and the limited success he had was when we mere more fluid up front and he came central. More recently he’s been played out wide as a touchline hugger or Saturdays disaster. He’s got neither the pace nor trickery to play as a true wide man and doesn’t have the athleticism or ability to play off Tronstad as the deep lying playmaker.

Wonder what Duncan makes of all this, got visions of him holed up in his room at the Dunkenhalgh wearing a bleaching cap looking wistfully out of the window as sleet batters the valley.

Wasn’t that the case anyway (on Facebook)?
The worm had started to turn yesterday with the Maguire news unfolding, coupled with the info that realistically only IS and SW would have access to the EFL registration portal.

He’s played a blinder has Steve, a quick glance at Facebook and the ire is all pointed toward the underachieving JDT.

And there was me thinking you’d calmed down 😁😁
Am glad I’m not the only one who has read the meetings goings on and thought what a bunch of gigantic Fanny’s. If they have so little resilience that fans rightly criticising them has a major effect then we really are screwed in a relegation dogfight

The fact it has to be sanctioned by Venky’s is laughable, they’re on such an ego trip all the time, it’s always about control

Waggot will be glad the JDT news overshadows the EFL booting out our case today.

How about Broughton as CEO in place of maggot ?
Bring in Jason Wilcox from Southampton as DOF ( should have approached him last time)
I know there's no chance but you can only try
Why would Wilcox have any interest in leaving a team on their way back to the PL to join the raging bin fire that is Rovers

Well if he’s in discussion he’s as good as gone, it’s the compensation they’re haggling over. Most likely for Remi and the fitness guy if Jon is waiting his fee

Think this is the most likely scenario. Either Broughton & co went rogue and negotiated the deal without the prior approval from India, which never came, or they were told that the deal could be negotiated but the final approval from India didn’t arrive before the deadline (either because of incompetence or a last minute change of mind).
I just don’t see why they go the effort of doing media and announce the signing in this scenario.
This is the part I continually come back to when questioning whether it’s incompetence or sabotage. The fact that the signing was announced with some fanfare points toward rank incompetence that is a result of us lacking any form of effective management, a culture of ineptitude without consequence and general malaise on the administrative side of things

Whilst that sounds plausible I just don’t seem JDT accepting being sacked and then reinstated. He’s too professional to hang about with that carry on and also he doesn’t stand to gain by staying if given his marching orders. We’re an absolute shit show and he’s managing with both hands tied behind his back (albeit he’s not doing himself any favours with tactics, formations and team Selection at the moment)

If we only took over his Orlando wages there won’t be any loss of earnings.
Aye, if only he could make an argument we fraudulently mis-sold him A deal that would benefit him Which resulted in him turning down Sheff We’d. It won’t happen but I can dream. I really feel for the lad, aside from everything we’ve treated him appallingly and potentially had a career defining impact on him. It’s ethically deplorable, genuinely ashamed of the club

I hope the lad goes after us for loss of earnings after selling him a pup with the deal here.

It's the fact we went to the effort of announcing it all and do media that confuses me

Has anyone else picked up on how responsive Nixon is being on Twitter to those who are suggesting that the cock-ups were intentional?
Seems unlike him to repeat himself so much, I also don't recall a time where he's defended the Club this much...
Something's telling me that he's been slipped a few quid to dismiss the theories and try to keep the peace a little.
Wouldn't be the first time, remember the wee gem

There is zero chance the EFL will approve it, waste of time and money.

We're in proper dog ate my homework territory with all this now, it's laughable. If it was any club but ours I'd be laughing my arse off, what a joke we are.

Any reports on how Buckley got on last night?

Agreed. They can't allow it or it sets the precedent for the future/all clubs.
Imagine they allow it and Rovers avoid relegation on the last day with McGuire scoring the winner, all hell would (rightly) break loose.
The football authorities got away lightly with the Tevez and Mascherano case years ago, don't think they can take that risk again.
-
Not a hope in hell the transfer has gone through. The EFL can't bend the rules or be lenient otherwise they'd be open to every legal challenge under the sun from other clubs. Ultimately it doesn't matter which form wasn't submitted, whether it was wrong or late, we didn't do it correctly so the form is null and void.

You joke but I wouldn’t be surprised if Venky’s thought Ted Lasso was a ‘Welcome To Wrexham’ style documentary
