  1. That Thomas Freddie bloke and others that have gone before and no doubt will comW in the future all do so in the hope to gain favour with execs at rovers. Hoping that they become an exec/fan representative. The idea of being a a somebody in football is massive to many people, especially the linkedin wankers of the world. There is nobody as quick to judge as someone who wishes to feather their own nest
  2. I once remember Tom Finn proudly boasting of Rovers having the highest number of in area season ticket holders (percentage wise) of any PL/EFL/SPL/SFL club in the UK. Which I believe is a more pertinent reflection of attendances since 92 and post takeover era.
  3. Darragh MaxAnthony doesn’t usually get transfers wrong, when we upped the price and he didn’t flinch then people should have taken more notice
  4. I said at the start of the season I thought we’d be relegated in our 150th season, such is the way football works and our continual downgrading. I am now almost certain it will happen
  5. Bolton, Wigan and maybe Blackpool away at least next season
  6. I agree it definitely looks like the personnel to play 4-3-3 not the usual 3-4-2-1
  7. As bizarre lineups go that’s up there. A defensively suspect LWB at LCB, the worst DM in recent history playing when we have others available who can fulfil that role with much more quality. Baffling. The midfield 3 of Cantwell, Tavares and Morishita is unbelievably lightweight. I like Morishita and Cantwell has been much better when he’s played but from a defensive point of view a decent opposition midfielder would be licking their lips.
  8. We could play with two 10's in a 3-4-2-1. Cantwell and Mori coming in as the 10's with One of De Neve or Ribeiro giving the width in the 4 alongside whatever combination of TGH, Tronstad, Baradji and Forshaw is fit. The lone striker a tough one as Andri scores but Yuki presses
  9. Pity it won’t happen as I can see Cantwell and Tronstad going in jan
  10. Alebiousu has got to roll it in to Andris path there
  11. There was a lot oh shite in the Souness and Allardyce era. Kaba Diawara, Herold Goulon. In fact hodgson signed some real dross too
  12. That is such a bad header from a championship forward. The keeper should really have caught it
  13. It's cleared right up in Lancaster and no further rain forecast, assuming Blackburn isn't too dissimilar you'd think with the wind and the time to kick off the pitch would have sufficient time to drain into the river
  14. The referee went down the tunnel as he knew what was coming. At the point of postponement against Ipswich the conditions were significantly worse. The minute the referee saw the ball being held by water he was pulling it as he knew the outcome. We’ve made a rod for our own back by having a pitch with inadequate drainage and until it is sorted properly will come back to haunt us time and again. Precedent has been set and upheld so teams know of its pissing down and you’re losing at Ewood find the wet patches
  15. Pitch issues aside, how bad was the first 20 or so minutes. Aimlessly and ponderously passing it from side to side before giving it to Miller to gift the opposition possession.
  16. I’ve not been able to get to a home game due to work commitments since the Ipswich game. So I’ve not seen a game completed at a Ewood in over 10 weeks! Shambles from top to bottom.
  17. Yes, I understood that as being due to the distance from goal Davies has chance to cover, also the trajectory of Davies straight line run probably influenced his decision. As I've said, I think it's a howler though I can see how the ref has made his decision regardless of my own personal feelings on whether it was or wasn't.
  18. I think distance to goal is the main contributing factor in the refs decision
  19. I think we need to turn it in with the refs are corrupt, EFL hates us. Plays right into the owners/VI’s victim narrative. The ref made a howler, no doubt over the season we will get howlers go in our favour. There will be countless other teams in the end of equally bad decisions on a weekly basis, but we don’t pore over their games with a fine tooth comb like we do ours mistakes in our games feel much more pronounced. The fact remains that we made numerous errors that contributed to them equalising. From substitutions giving them momentum to Miller giving the ball away needlessly to De Neve not being where he should. Referees neither score nor concede goals. Players do
  20. His inability to offer any threat when ‘pressing’ is a joke. At least Tyjon would run around
  21. It does to the untrained eye look like players are pulling in unnecessary appearance bonuses
  22. VI does know this isn’t u11 grassroots and he doesn’t have to play everyone
