Just realised I should have posted here first... Big Rovers fan but haven't been to a game for a while (went 0-0 Bolton at Ewood this year). I can't force myself to do it after the venkys came in and rip the heart out of the club. Gets me really down to see a local club just dismembered with no real outcry from the media... it's more viewed as funny tale of chickens etc. Had some great times during my journey. Notably Wembley play-off final against Leicester on the hottest day ever. Season tickets for many years of quality football. Worthington Cup final in Cardiff etc. Still have nightmares about that Saha spooned volley in the Carling Cup semi and having to queue amongst red scummers to get home. Witnessed some atrocious players during the years but think the current team is right up there. We need a miracle to happen... venkys to leave and someone who cares to come in.

Cole was a top class striker, Rhodes is not. It's that simply. Rhodes can only finish and at times he wasn't even so good at that. Cole could run channels, link up player, had a determination and a desire. I was devastated when he went from Newcastle to the red scum. I'm really struggling with this debate. I can't see how anyone can compare Cole to Rhodes. It's like comparing Terry to Hanley.
