Reality setting in for the lad. Too bad. Agents doin? Who knows. I think he expected to be having to knock teams off with a stick. Might end up begging a bit.

No point praising how good some of our younger players are when the Premier Leaguee sharks are always circling.
We get excited at the prospect, then they're off.
That lopsided BS needs fixed. I do not even know if it benefits Prem clubs since most of these young uns end up nowhere near the limelight. It needs fixed, I think, because as it stands it hurts smaller clubs and young players.

According to the Scottish Sun, the offers have been booted out as being " nowhere near" the Club's valuation.
Whoever would have thunk it?
Sometime wonder if we find out what a player is selling for and offer nowhere near the value just so we can say we tried. Nah we would'nt do that would we?

lol. That’s reliable.
Have a look of Boylesports website. They haven’t got the market up just like every other bookie.
For comparison, Newcastle are only 250/1 to get relegated from the Prem.
Rovers were about 4/1 to be relegated last year and I suspect we will be about 6/1 this year.
350-1 😂
Someone with lotsa bling might be all over that, we are going down, oh dear oh dear.

Sonhe's still not signed for anyone?

History !
We seem to be getting one every window now. Good player, decent wages, decent transfer money then it collapses. We have form for this every window

Duru in reserve... once he is fit again
As per Gestede - "we need to increase the minutes on the pitch for our academy players"
missing a bit, "because our owners will not invest in players we need"

Hyam will probably be happy to extent on his current terms whereas Tronstad they are probably lowballing and Travis will definitely want a pay-rise.
Can’t believe our luck sometimes also… stress fracture. How severe can it be if he didn’t notice?
Thing is, IIRC Hyam was crap without Baath.

Says Kargbo showed well, that is good I liked the look of him in his nrief appearances. Hopefully we can figure out our soft tissues injury issues and we will see more of him. Needs a goid run in the side to ne effective IMHO

That assumes that every player that stays like Wharton goes on to do what he does.
Phillips is clearly not at the same level.
Point being, Phillips has now played 18 months of consecutive regular Championship football. He probably wouldnt have here.
I never saw Phillips that.much but when I did I was not impressed he certainly did not look anything special, looks to me like he fancies himself as a Rio Ferdinand. Time will tell.

Notable absences today, Matty Litherland (RB/CB), Duru (RB) (but believe he may be recovering from injury) and James Edmondson (our best U21 central midfield option?). Instead Mullarkey-Matthews gets a game having been out for most of last season.
A forward is probably needed, as I don't think Tyjon is ready (he wasn't prolific for the U21s last season. albeit in a poor team) and Leonard is injury-prone.
What is going on with Duru, saw a few fleeting glimpses of him early last season and I was impressed then nuttin! Was he injured a lot?

Out of contract next summer, highly unlikely he's here after this season i reckon.
Given our owners/admin team's complete lack of attention to our players conracts, safe to say he'll be off too.

This sort of weird conspiratorial thing is so fucking boring. If you genuinely think the owners have any plans beyond setting arbitrary budgets, then you need help.
Really? I need help? Let's see. I probably need help though. I must to have followed this Venky Masterclass in how not to run a football team, or how to destroy a successful team in one season, and still be keeping up with Rovers every day.

Disgraceful from the club on the Trav situation. We really show our players how much we want them. Sad really sad

So this latest deal is not happening now. Medical issues have been suggested. Perhaps he was on the treadmill and someone asked him about the 10k cap.

Seen pictures of Dolan in the green and white hoops. Look good on him, he's gone tonCeltic, good for him I think it is a good move. Is the Scottish Prem a higher level overall than the Championship IDK, he will get to play in some games that are big occasions which will be good experience for him. Another I think whose career would be better served maturing another two years with us and then moving on. Good luck to the lad, I will keep an eye on his progress. He could take off and do well or he could bomb. He tried for us worked his lil bollox off but he needs a footballing brain to match his skill ran into dead ends, missed opportunites for passes. Not sure what he lacks can be coached into him. Sometimes if you don't have it by his age, you not gonna get it. Good luck young Dolan hope you do not live to regret it.

Why does it necessarily have to be a Travis replacement?. We know how important it is to have a strong squad in the Championship and this has been half of our issue that we never have a decent bench to try and change games. This could mean we are selling Buckley, Rankin-Costello, Garrett? Our main midfield four options to start with could be Tronstad, Travis, Tavares & Mannsverk - not dreadful by any means with a couple of youngsters under these four.
Nothing to suggest we are selling Travis aside from lazy journalism linking him to Derby and Tronstad has said himself he wants to stay. We are more likely to let Travis walk for free next year than sell him this year. For now he is under contract for this coming season.
This is Venkies so it is quite simple. Which player(s) would fetch most?.

Sontjis window we could lose Baath, Dolan, Weiman, Trav, Tronstadt, Brittain. Just ket that sink in a minute. SIX first teamers all to be replaced with nobodys. Well on the way to 3rd division, middle of. So friggin tragic what has happened. Make a good documentary that the 135/15. Highlight the success if the lil town team even after Jack passed. Compare that with the Venkie's tenure, include all the olayer and contract mis-management, Kean the unfireable, agent shennanigans all of it. The world needs to know. Something is very wrong in Pune and I wonder if a couple if shovels worth of digging might just show illegalities. It just stinks and is so mindbiggling.
Any other Championship team that was in similar positions in January wiuld have backed their manager to the hilt in an effort to get to the prem. Our lot? Well they did it in such a fashion that both our managers walk. Stinks.

Saw something over here on me phone.news.thingies. Spurs want Wharton and Place want 100 Million. Send that news to Venkies. Came on here expecting this thread in meltdown but not even a mention. Reason to doubt the news source?
