  1. Wonderful, another dolloper who's done nothing.
  2. Think all of us could have replied with the same.
  3. Its not its rovers, the boro chairman said so himself. Said the buyer knows the price and that its a steal at 2.5mil (could be a steal to be fair to him). Said he had to put that clause in becuase maddison wouldn't renew his contract otherwise, when it only had a year left on it. So for him it was either lose him for newt or at least get 2.5mil. The buyer (which i assume is us) wants to pay over 3 or 4 years and that there's not a chance hes accepting that, maybe over 2 years he said.
  4. To be pedantic, when venkys arrived we were a mid-table premiership outfit. Therefore no, we are not in the best place since venkys arrived. Arguably we also had a season under Gary Bowyer when then playing side of things became very stable and we very nearly go into the play offs with a very good squad. So no, things are worse now than they were in those two instances. If it wasn't for Mowbray the club is still basically the same shambles it has been for 8 years pal. Maybe that's your point, in that we have Mowbray so things are better than they have been for while, I can sort of take that onboard, but really, things are the same, minimal money being spent, ticket prices rising, no real initiative to get fans back into the ground, no communication from owners, same old stuff being repeated in telegraph every day from either the manager or the CEO (because we aren't getting anywhere because the clubs still a shambles) and a squad at the moment that will probably struggle. There is always going to be a good feeling when you win something or achieve promotion, but once that's done, people go back to knowing the club is still a mess. Look at Coventry, nobody turns up at the Ricoh, but when they got to wembley they took what, 35,000 and they enjoyed it. But there fans know they are still a shambles and their season ticket sales prove that.
  5. Different police forces probably why.
  6. No, he said there had been no contact. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16352183.bristol-rovers-boss-pours-cold-water-on-ellis-harrison-talk/
  7. Lol, i forgot about that donkey as well if honest mate. Worst couple of strikers since Ashley ward.
  8. The positive brigade can parade it all they want, but if we go out into Ipswich with this squad then we are weaker than we were in league 1. Luckily, very lucky, we have a gaffer who csn organise a team and a team that like the manager, that should see is through to safety, but it will be a crappy season.
  9. One thing is for sure, if that bugger is guna be second string to graham, and graham gets injured, ill be watching darwen. Nuttall isn't worthy of even being a football league player, never mind championshio, hes absolute garbage.
  10. Looking at us thisavo, bell as a wing back is very effective, pace and can beat a man. Think that may be the way forward for us this season if we can't get any decent wingers in. Additionally, with Graham we look far more of an attacking threat.
  11. Doesn't score many, Chris.
  12. Calling Bradshaw prolific is way off. Hes scored 17 goals in 80 games in the championship. Around 65 goals in 240 games in the football league, with nearly 40 in league one. Prolific he is not, and certainly not at championship level. Pitman way too unfit for championship football. Eaves was an okay player in league one. All three players i would hope we wouldn't even consider. However probably the kind of player we will sign.
  13. Fair point. But Craig is the eyes and ears in the dressing room apparently. Id rather have someone who gets on the pitch and performs.
  14. Be a bit underwhelmed with him, his scoring record is poor at best and that's in league one. Just seems like another version of samuel but a bit quicker.
  15. Sorry it may be Marriott as someone mentioned that Derby are in for. Get mixed up with the two, likes when we had Dunn and Duff, or Dunn and Bunn, or Ollson and Ollson.
  16. Fair point, it's just usually by now we have an idea of who we are looking for in terms of calibre and how that would fit in to how we would play, but I am just hearing cheap inexperienced loans. Hopefully that is not the case.
  17. his latest interview (boro chairman) says they've rejected 3 Derby bids and talks still ongoing (apparently, the full interview not viewable yet)
  18. Sounds like it's Derby in for Maddison and not us. I really do worry then, I don't know what our plans are.
  19. Peterborough chairman announcing today which club is in talks with maddison, or so he says.
  20. I am so sure we are in for Maddison. Peterborough chairman literally replies to all fans, but has avoided answering every single question from Rovers fans. Maybe Rovers asked to keep it quiet, that's how Mowbray usually likes doing business?
  21. The new Lithuanian lad we've signed, what's that shirt? Close
  22. O Fortuna one of best entrance songs we've had, get that back on rovers
  23. I Hope we aren't fighting it out with Burton, they are in league one, pal.
  24. Gallagher would be fine as long as we also purchased a player up top with real pace. I doubt we will get both, therefore someome with pace is more essential.
