  1. How many top 10 champ teams would be after mowbray should they move their current man out? I can tell you none. I get that he gets kudos from rovers fans for getting us promoted but so did souness and before he jumped ship I remember thinking his time was up here despite getting us up and winning us silverware. Put it another way had we survived a few seasons back, and Mowbray had is languishing bottom half of the table the last few years wouldn’t fans be asking for a change to push us on. Top champ teams are hiring progressive managers like Bielsa, farka, santo, Wagner to take them to the next level, we should be thinking the same. It’s a gamble of course it is but I’m happy to take it

    How and where?

Yes we need need to learn from our mistakes but by getting rid of him in his first full season as our manager in the Championship after getting us promoted is a little bit far.

Not educating you on the history of mowbrays career, look it up for yourself. Think too many draws in first relegated season instead of going for 3, think taking foot of the peddle instead of going for the title lg 1, think not pushing hard for playoffs this season, think transfer record, players playing out of position, late collapses, defence not rectified, too many contracts handed out to players not good enough, Williams and Smallwood, strange lineups and tactics,,, to name but a few. Open your eyes man

  3. Mowbray earner the right to this season and money to build his team, done what was needed last season, not brilliant but pass marks.

Imo he hasn’t influenced this team this season anywhere near enough as he should’ve. I laugh every time I hear a commentator say he is known for attractive football, utter cosh.

Eyebrows were raised with handing out contacts like sweets and I think it’s been justified with a number of them undeserving.

Transfer markets have been nothing short of a shambles.

Team selection and tactics highly questionable.

His history cannot be ignored either, more blots than successes.

I don’t for one minute think he will go anytime soon, he seems to have won the venkys over. I think he should be and get a Hughes or a Wagner in. I understand people are worried if we got rid who venkys would bring in after recent appointments but I don’t see a promotion push next year, I see more of the same and I’d rather gamble than stagnate

You are actually mental... How on earth can you even say you have had enough. Look at what that man has done for us. What on earth are you expecting us to achieve this year? Surely everyone expected mid table?

Yes, it is frustrating to concede late goals and yes we lost against a poorer team. These things happen and guess what, if they didn't we'd be Barcelona.

    Honestly, just get a grip.

If your happy to continue as we are your the mental one I’m afraid. Lessons not learned will continue to hurt us. Your like a domestic abuse partner, scared to give up what we have in case it’s not better. Dream a little. Mowbray has made more blemishes than good imo

Reading didn't  have too work hard for there goals tonight  and we've  too many square pegs in round holes players needed  left back , right back with paces and proper winger with paces a big strong center half and a Stricker over too you Tony

And a goalkeeper, centre backs, centre mids and a stronger bench. Most probably a new manager to boot

On a side note I preached for us to make a move for Nelson Olivera back in June/July. What a good player he was in a garbage team.

He obviously hasn't ever played against Coventry, and Norwich is too far away from Middlesbrough.

    Genuine "Angry" Pirate tonight.

To be fair he done nothing until he scored which should’ve been blocked

  7. Another yes another late goal conceded, leaving our best players to play boro which we probably won’t win, why not get the three tonight against a poorer team. There for the taking.

Bye tony, tactically naive, poor signings, not sorted late goals conceded, seemingly a fitness issue. Trying to play players out of position. Defence has needed rectified since we sold hanley and hasn’t been. All in all. Iv has enough. Been building for a while but last straw now, I want him to go at the end of the season

  8. Frustrating that this game is there for the taking, wouldn’t we be better going for the three in this than the none we are going to get v boro. Rothwell needs to play if dack isn’t.

Bell is so frustrating, he done one very good run and cross at the beginning and since he has had lead boots with massive touches

  9. Surely despite saying to the contrary, mowbray can’t be happy with how this signing is turning out. This one for the future is a lot of cosh, if he was good enough he would be playing. He was playing for forest so it doesn’t make sense. For all the positives this season this is the huge elephant in the room and the one that in future years supporters will remember. Our supposed marquee signing getting brief cameos and contributing nothing. Never mind chris brown, I think this lad is Kevin Davies mark 2. Does nothing for us and we sell him then hits it off somewhere else, I can just see it

It’s just a little fun. You’re making your own rules up about Kean getting sacked, Venkys leaving, not getting out of League 2.

It’s one season and we return to where we are now.

I’d rather be in the National League than have Kean as our manager.

The Premier League can do one.

But then again, I am “mad” ?

You need to look at the bigger picture , you can’t just have one season in a nothing league and magically go back to where you were. League 2 would mean we were at least 3 seasons before hitting the heights of the prem again. You also have to look at the money at the different scenarios, that’s football. Sorry if I’m looking at the bigger picture but I think you need to, we don’t play on a cloud

One of the main reasons I want us to get back there - just so that our last memories of the PL do not contain that ugly mug.

Anybody that says differently hasn’t really thought this through obviously. If we hit league 2 we are at the bottom, there is no guarantee that we get back up, Venkys probably give up by then and we get taken over by some small fry investor with little money. Also mowbray ain’t that good a manager, he didn’t win league 1 with the biggest budget. I’m wholly unconvinced by him getting us to the prem let alone he would even stick around in lg 2, then who do we attract.

yes I hate Kean but it’s the prem league, there is money, good chance Kean will bomb and get the sack anyway, even if relegated we get parachute money, people forget we were expected to bounce back up and had we invested better with a better manager we would’ve. It also keeps our club relevant and in the spotlight in the prem. there is no coverage in lg 2.

In summary the future is a lot rosier in the prem than lg 2 regardless of who is in charge. Managers will come and go, our club and fans won’t- well to an extent haha.

    Anybody saying different Is mad
