We will try and stifle a 0-0 but ultimately no we won’t win nor gain a point. I wish our gd was better or the other teams had less favourable games but it is what it is, I think Plymouth will go

I’ve defended Gally in the past but as the seasons have gone by he’s just got worse and worse. He’s supposed to be our No1 striker and when did he last look like scoring a goal ?
This. I too have defended him in the past but we really need a goal scorer not a forward who is handy to have at the back , best way I can put it is that he is a striker who doesn’t crave goals, never seen that hunger in him

My prediction for last day
sunderland score early 1-0 v owls
birmingham score mid way through first half 1-0 v Norwich
we are 0-0 at ht
plymouth and hull 0-0 ht
plymouth score early in second half 1-0 v hull
owls equalise v Sunderland
Leicester score about 70 mins to put us in the bottom 3 , a cock up at the back
birmingham score a 2nd
Leicester score a second and we are done for saving ourselves
Norwich pull one back 2-1
Sheff we’d score a second, now 2-1 up
we now go into the last 10 mins praying for an equaliser in 2 of the games
late hull goes saves our bacon for another season
We scrape in by a point

Loved him but no, his race is run, those injury’s have goosed him
-
I have stuck up for him since he came in really , as he was left a mess of a squad with no power to get his own players in but im not seeing anything to give me confidence that he is a winner and can stop our decline. Fluffed 2/3 good opportunities to get us safe and just hasn’t been brave enough to get us wins instead of draws. When are we going to get a late winner? I don’t want a scared manager, that breeds onto the pitch.
we need something different, give me a sheff wed or qpr type appointment

Same here. Hull score bagful of goals and are good away. The incentive of getting a top 6 spot as well means this will be an incredibly tough game for Plymouth. Exactly what we wanted.
Also means Leicester can win the title before we play them which significantly boosts our chances of getting something against them.
Gentlemen’s agreement for a point , they can run out their ressies, cmon Leicester , we have a decent relationship I think….
-
Hull lucky to get a point in the end, it was a tough watch but we have them going for the win v Plymouth . Genuinely think that game is our best hope
-
Couldn’t write that from a rover point of view, needing hull to get something, Morton mistake leads to a clinical finish from hirst. What kind of universe is this
-
Frustrating that we lost our gd advantage to Birmingham, lost 2-0 to Bristol city instead of 5 and you would be fairly confident that we were safe tonight, as it is we can’t get beat and Birmingham win without us losing out on gd, slim margins but we tend to not fall on the right side of these, albeit as mentioned above a lot of that is our own doing
-
Ahh taking it to the wire, course we are. Sounds like we should have won that today and made all rovers fans enjoy their Saturday night but not the rovers way
-
Thought he was superb v Newcastle and probably will have another big move on the horizon but palace fits him well at this time, play nice stuff and got some great young players there. Everything I wish rovers were tbh
-
No doubt about it, we need something in this game, I am going to keep myself busy with other stuff, I think if I watched it I would seriously trouble my heart

Honestly not sure we'll be playing either ! Could be more like Stockport and Mansfield 😡😡. It would be typical of this season that Rovers end up for the first time in the bottom 3 on the last day of the season
But if you are asking me I think Forest could really be in the shit next season if they do go down
The being in the bottom 3 only on the last day hasn’t been lost on me either, it would be so typical of us and relegated on goal difference again, we never get the right side of it

It was just such a bad time to do that, we could still have salvaged a draw from 1 down but 2 and we were done, as it was we barely layed a glove on them thereafter. I am still absolutely fizzing from that yesterday, I was so looking forward to being safe and lifting this anxious feeling.
i echo the sentiments on here about being absolutely lost in my feelings towards the club, as above I can’t just switch off but I’m just so embarrassed by the club at the moment it’s not in the least bit enjoyable. From the players with their clown boots on to the boardroom with their transfer cock ups, to the owners who won’t set foot in the stadium, whole thing just stinks and it doesn’t happen anywhere else, absolutely the laughing stock of the football league.
if we go down I don’t think I can continue, I can’t do league 1 again, it’s too painful. It will be a look at the results at 5pm type season and do something else with my Saturdays. I think this season has been the straw that’s broke the camels back for quite a few, would not be surprised if st sales are hit badly

There will be a few I’d imagine who would want to put things right and who are hardly going to have teams busting down the door to get them
wharton
jrc
Pickering
but yes loads of changes needed regardless of what league we are in

Maybe the club trying to loan him out behind the managers back has something to do with it.
What’s this?

I used to really like hyam but I don’t know what’s happened to him, like a different player this year, just looks like there is a constant mistake in him, need to get rid
-
I don’t think we can’t radically change the team and expect to get a result and for that reason pears will stay number 1 till the end of the season.
i would happily take hyam out however as there is adequate replacements.
quite simply we need a reaction again. Lose and we are done

Went from possibly the best keeper in the division to certainly the worst, ahh, rovers life
-
What exactly is pears doing for that 3rd and ultimately killer goal, yes there is the initial mistake with the bobble kick but he still has time to react, it’s like he suddenly loses all control of his limbs and it’s flailing arms and legs all over the place.
needless to say I don’t know how many of my mates have sent me this with laughing emojis, I can’t defend it , it’s so bad
-
Least Coventry hammering themselves into the ground but then I thought we had an advantage when Wednesday were down to their 3rd choice cb and we never even tested it
-
It’s one clown show after another with us currently, it’s hard graft “supporting” this mob.
hyam , what has happened to you

I’m going to be angry about this until next Saturday ,
summed up by Wharton not even able to make a cynical foul correctly to stop their second goal. Why were we so open when we were creating nothing with a million players high up the pitch. It’s a collective bunch of crap footballers

Wolves away and we almost fucked that up from 3-0 up!
You may understand my anger at the start now , can tell within the first 10 what rovers have turned up , we done nothing to win that game, everything to lose it.
can’t help but feeling negative when it’s a well worn script

His only impression on me was missing a header that would have got us an unlikely point in a game, I can’t even remember who it was against, Birmingham? but yes, another point would have been great right about now
