He is far better than those two, nuttall wasn’t wanted at Aberdeen. Says enough for me. Samuel has potential perhaps but needs to use his power and pace. I like Carlton Morris as mentioned a few pages ago, people say his goal scoring isn’t great but young players tend to start slow before getting consistent goalscoring seasons. He reminds me of Troy deeney  who had a similar record early in his career . He would be a good option with pace and power 

Great about dack but we are all craving new signings here, new contracts aren’t cutting it 

In my humble opinion to get this squad up to level I reckon we need to spend 7-10 million. Anything less and it’s lower to relegation. Time for venkys to show a bit of ambition and roll the dice without putting future in jeapordy. 3 mill Armstrong, 1 mill Bauer, 1 mill chapman is a good start

Simple statement to venkys, no marquee signings, no fans attending games. I certainly won’t be splurging money to watch our enivitable relegation with current squad

I see Leeds have bid for jozefzoon, would suggest they aren’t in for Maddison. Think there is a very good chance that it’s us trying to do a deal in my opinion

Don’t think we can tarnish all older players with the same brush, look at the performances Tugay, Hughes, Salgado, Dunn gave us. I understand Johnson had an injury record hence why I said pay as you play, if he doesn’t get fit he doesn’t get paid. I still have a lot of question marks over nyambe and with the club seemingly unwilling to part with transfer fees I’d rather get the better freebies in. I feel our squad is well behind where it should be currently. A few rabbits will need to be pulled from the hat in next few weeks to change that opinion. Our best defender is 32, Johnson ain’t finished at 33 in my opinion and always likes his tackling and forward drive.

In in other news I’d like to see us make a move for Alex Mowatt, fits the bill of a Mowbray type project, highly regarded has then went off the boil but young and a point to prove. 

I liked what I saw from Harrison, be happy to sign him but with a view as a sub rather than a starter and 875k seems excessive, thought about 200k would be more like it

See chapman is being mooted as a loan deal, if that’s the case I’d rather make a signing rather than a loan. Don’t see what advantage we get from a loan player doing well for us other than possibly a few extra points but wages used, no resale value and stopping one of our own development makes it a no from me despite me liking chapman. 

That really was a horrific deal for us

To be honest I totally believe we missed a trick not signing up David jones after we had him here, went onto Burnley and done very well for them, had we had him and cairney in the middle I believe we would’ve went up
