I can't believe we're having to pay to watch Dolan, Gallagher, Markanday, Hyam, Pears, Pickering, Buckley, McFadzean. That is one unbelievably bad team. Add the likes of Wahlstedt, Garrett, Telalovic, Moran and Sigurdsson, we are totally out of our depth in the Championship this year. It's a league that's moved on from freebies and spending pennies.
Actually disagree , there is a whole load of shyte in the league this year, just we are right down there in terms of quality
With a little bit of quality, a well organised hard working team and a manager that knows how to set up their team you can fly in this league, look at Ipswich. It’s not a league that you have to spend millions to survive in

Why do we always fluff our lines in games that mean something, even going back to our greatest achievement , we would have fluffed our lines had West Ham not done us a massive favour by holding Man Utd. Time and time again let down by this team. That’s an appalling result in our circumstances, win and we are all bit safe, why is that not motivation to get a rocket up their arses and fight. Utterly pathetic, get rid of the lot of them and start from absolute scratch whatever division we are in, I hate all of them

Think we need 4 more and we get 7 including a win midweek
bristol - win
leeds- loss
sheff we’d- win
Coventry- draw
leicester- loss

Just looked at all the fixtures,
id be worried looking at Plymouth, millwall and qpr’s run ins.
still loads of games between each other to go
if I could pick 2 to go it would be Birmingham and Huddersfield -
Other results not being kind
-
Losing points against the bottom 3 though, 5 cut to 4

Don’t like that Wednesday win
-
Didn’t think I would be spending my Friday night watching Rotherham v Plymouth and hoping for a Rotherham win but this is where we are at
-
Anyone else think a point at Southampton on Saturday? Would take that just now

No idea where some of you are getting we are safe from, I still think we need to beat Wednesday and at least one other

Why on the JRC one.
He isnt in the keepers line of vision and he doesn’t impede the keepers movement in any way.
He was tho, he jumped over the ball , he had an impact on the defender and keeper so was offside. I wish it wasn’t but that’s the cold hard facts

I really really want to like brittain but Jesus he is exposed as a poor full back time and time again. He can’t run and pass at the same time.
i disagree with those saying the goals were good , if any of them went against us we would be raging
-
We can bemoan the ref and he was shyte, but all the goals were rightly ruled out.
Szmodics should have scored, if he had composed himself he had time to lift it.
worrying for me was the lack of good chances we created, looks like we are trying to scrape survival on defence. Doesn’t help when we throw one in the net. I said I fancied us against Ipswich at home, I think they were there for the taking. I have less optimism about getting something Monday- 1

We have nothing creative., it’s such a poorly assembled squad

You couldn't call Hedges "consistent" though could you?
Consistently injured maybe. Not a good buy really.
Called this at the time of his signing , not great

I also think we can get something from Ipswich at home, end of the day they are performing well above expectations but the majority were playing league 1 football until recently , we have to impose ourselves early and not let them get confident. They have a really good winger so full backs will need good games

Other results going our way this weekend

Frustratingly if we had won just one of either Millwall or Plymouth we’d be sat in 15th, with 6 teams between us and the drop and 5 points clear with a better goal difference and 9 games to go.
Beat both like we should’ve and we would be just about safe

Career doesn’t seem to be going to plan, he honestly wasn’t bigger than us other than in his head. Back to champ next season no doubt

Think we maybe want swans to beat Bristol city as think city are more likely to collapse at this stage and we still have to play them, chance to climb over them perhaps

He isn't there as far as I know.
He was meant to be but got into the queue for the taxis instead of the club

QPR will be safe, they look far far better than us
-
Qpr looking very good tonight, everything we should have been last night

Having been down this road too many times to mention in recent years, you get a feeling around this time of year if you are going to pull away from trouble or sink, this squad doesn’t have anyone bar Szmodics that is capable and has the desire, rest are feeble with little quality, I don’t think we will get enough points with the teams below all picking up and getting results. We are the one in free fall and it never ends well.
Looking at the team last night, there isn’t many I would argue aren’t playing at l1 level already, team picks itself for next yearpears
brittain
mcfadzean
wharton

gilsenan
jrc

leonard
telovic

The reason we might stay up this year is that there is so much dross down the bottom that we might survive by default, unless your getting parachute payments your operating at a loss, champ spending is way down.
I agree that our squad is crap but you don’t have to have spent a lot to be mid table. It’s been a number of calamitous errors by management that have us where we are. Had we kept or at least replaced to some degree Wharton and kaminski we wouldn’t be relegation fodder
