The only good thing that happened in that half was Ashley Barnes getting loads of shit from the Blackburn End.

    Literally nothing else.

    Absolutely hanging.

Yep, we're lucky to have not conceded more imo, my thoughts being a change of manager should improve things defensively.

Either the players aren't good enough, or the coaches that remained aren't up to it

Pickering is shite as a full back and would be worse as a wing back. The only position he could play in our system as it is now is left of the 3 but he would be behind Hyam (Crewe lad on the right) and Scott there for me.

    Agreed.

Seen enough of Pickering to know he's not good enough to be a LB in our team if we ever have ambition of a top 6.

Pickering is back in training. Im guessing he probably wont feature but his return will be a welcome boost.

A steady player who is good on the ball and a considerable upgrade on Hedges who isnt a wing back and Chrisene who isnt really up to standard.

I'd say Hedges looks better at LWB than Pickering.

No answer to simple questions posed?

Give Eustace the benefit of the doubt? On what?

What experience have you got in a Football DoF role?

He has been a DoF for nearly 2 years..

So who would replace him then? Any names?.

Caddy, what gives you right at all to have an opinion on a DOF?

Why do you always insist on names? I doubt you know any names other than the obvious ones, who's to know what good looks like? None of have a clue unless we've worked in elite football.

Just because you have experience doesn't immediately make you good in any walk or life.

"I'm an experienced 5k runner because I've been running for 2 years" yet can't even break 25 mins. (Fyi I run a 19.30) but it's beyond the point.

    Based on what?

Presiding over the fucking up of the OBrien, Brierley signings and the Mcguire loan?

Signing Hirst, Ennis, Telalovic and Wahlstedt?

    Having us hurtling towards relegation?

Yeah, that'll be doing wonders for his reputation!

Based on the fact he had signings lined up to be told he now can't spend any money.

Then pivoting and changing that to a loan?

So there's no responsibility from the side of Waggott or Silvester, the only 2 who allegedly can submit paperwork?

I don’t think Gregg is going based on what the staff in the lounges were saying against Stoke.

    What about Silvester?

Mental him and Waggott remain, I've never so much gross incompetence in my life, and that's saying something.

I actually feel bad for GB, he actually appears to have ambition, currently the above are destroying his career, so wouldn't be surprised to see him leave, to protect his career.

maybe look at his full comments instead of just picking up a couple of words of it guys.

"You can see how important he is for us. He’s a gentleman, a leader and his demeanour is top drawer.

“He’s a massive player for us and we’re very lucky to have him. He’s a dangerous player wherever he plays in the frontline.

“He can look after the ball and just having someone of his stature on the pitch is something that can really help the group.

“This is our fourth or fifth day now and he’s been training and playing with a real buzz at the moment and with a smile on his face.

“We hope he can score a couple more goals but as long as his performances are there and he’s helping the team, that’s all I ask for.

“It’s great that he’s back, he’s fit and he’s firing

Shame his first touch means he can't keep hold of the ball.

Proof in the pudding will be in how we play rather than soundbites in interviews.

He has a reputation for pragmatic, direct football and we certainly played long ball on Tuesday, it ws horrendous to watch. Its all about results but I think he needs to find a balance as he gets used to the players because aimless punts wont work.

    Agreed.

Found it strange the difference in play between Damo Johnson ball and the Eustace ball. Or was it that Stoke were that shit? Lol

Not sure on the no excuse culture when he appeared to make excuses after Saturday's defeat

Worryingly I saw a few comments on Twitter last night from Birmingham fans about being glad they no longer played ’Eustace ball’ and how, despite being grateful of the job he did for them, they were now enjoying playing under a less negative manager in Mowbray.
None of which inspires much confidence if I’m honest - I fear tactics like last night might become the norm under this guy. And if that’s the case you could give ST’s away for free next season and you still won’t fill the ground!!

    Gosh.

    Mowbray football was absolutely dire.

I don't miss the hoof ball up to Adam Armstrong.

The one thing I would say is we looked better under Damien Johnson.
