GB is DOF and responsible for all football matters.

If we can't complete deals responsibility rests with him.

It's his feckin job to ensure all the cogs in the wheel are well oiled.  It's that simple.

IMO, a bullsh1tter well and truly out of his depth.

Isn't a club secretary the person who signs the papers? I don't know specifically.

So Silvester, who if memory serves me was appointed by Williams and Finn as Football Secretary years ago and worked for years without any issue whatsoever, all of a sudden has lost the ability to complete a deal anymore and it just happens to coincide with the period since Broughton's been at the Club?

    Righty ho then.

Why would JDT point at Suhail and Waggott?

Well I never thought it would come to this, but as long as Venky's are the owners I am done with Rovers. I have been a fan since 93, but now sadly it stops. These owners are slowly killing my interest for the club. There have been so many many incidents since they took over, but these latest things...

I have had enough of these uprofessional owners! They show time and time again that they will never learn, and
nothing will ever change as long as they are still around.

I hope to "see" you guys sometime in the future! Take care!

    Swanson out!

Sad to see you leave us Swanson.

I'm teetering on this edge too.

He won't come here but you'd think they'd at least try and get in Steve Cooper with his background with youth academies and developing players. He's the ideal candidate.

Their "bollocks to any ambition" stance, incompetence and general fuckwittedness would kill any approach dead, but you'd think he'd be top of the list.

Absolutely no chance he joins - didn't we fuck O'Brien whilst he was manager there?

It's unbelievable that he survived the O Brien debacle. He should have been sacked then but wasn't and look where we are now as a result- twelve months on and something similar has happened again. In that respect the Club have got what they deserved for the lack of accountability.

He's DOF so this sort of stuff is his responsibility. People want it both ways, if Waggott does something awful everyone rightly wants to blame the owners  because it's their name over the door.

The opposite seems to apply with GB though  even though transfer business is firmly within his remit as DOF. Everyone scrambles to try to absolve him for responsibility for matters clearly within his remit.

His recruitment has been shite as well imo. (I know you disagree so let's not run through merits of individual players for the zillionth time.) Suffice to say I think we saw what JDT thought of it with only one of the six available signings starting the game on Saturday.

Not convinced he'll go this time anyway. He'll probably attempt to bull shit his way out of it and come up smelling of roses for a second time.

Say what you like but these O Brien and Mcguire type debacle have only started occurring since his arrival at the Club.

    Usually rate your views.

But your hatred of GB is baffling?

Literally nothing to do with the owners?

Fool me once shame on you .. Fool me twice shame on me …. Club is in a melt down while sliding into the drop zone while the 2 muppets just try to make brownie points back in India …

This current System with directors from UK & their Indian proxies is just not going to work …That’s why Rovers went for most of transfers as “Loan to Buy “ which they have NO intention to purchase .. Rovers are a laughing stock with Agents & Clubs alike .. Even in Italy France Scandinavian countries their reputation proceeds them …. Now they have conquered the USA ….

Venkys are hopeless and have learnt nothing or just finding new ways not to spend … Blackburn Rovers has been turned into Blackburn Loaners … Shocking state of affairs ….

    Is there an end game?

Even if McGuire is given clearance to sign and play the very fact talks are still going on three days after the window closed is enough for a full investigation particularly after Broughton's big talk about reviewing processes after the O'Brien farce. I wonder if there will be another expensive appeal like last time even though the fault for the debacle was entirely of Rovers own doing.

    They're literally just saving face.

Cheaper to go through a legal exercise to make it look like they aren't in the wrong, when in fact they are.

No wonder the loan to buy was $6m!!! They had no intention of correctly sealing the deal.

JDT- I like him as a person and clearly has a style of play that he wishes to play.

However, he is the COACH. His job is to make the players better players.

Look at the state of the goals conceded this season- thats not on Venkys or management.

I am tired of the moaning and groaning about the lack of players- he has enough players to make us a competitive side.

I think Wagott and anyone else who is complicit in the McGuire transfer should be fired but JDT should be right behind them.

So you don't think all the off field matters impact everything on the pitch?

JDT the best manager of Venky's era. They've had several windows to get him a striker worthy of the name and utterly failed.

If they had and we'd converted just a few more of the myriad chances we have created, we would have easily made the play-offs by now. Then we could have built on it.

Its not his fault that he been sent to fight without weapons.

    Correct!

    Has anyone got Nicko's patreon?!

Fool me once fair enough but fool me twice ?

No chance, something really rotten at the heart of this lightening does not strike twice we've signed players n the past from all over the place and filled in all the correct boxes.

    Amen.

The McGuire revelation is it for me, on so many levels.

I've absolutely no interest in renewing my season ticket next year.

Won't be giving a penny more till Venky's are gone, so suspect that's me done with the club for a very very long time.

    My feelings are the same.

  11. Just looking at AFC Wimbledon - how refreshing would fan ownership be?

    Welcome to the Dons Trust

The Dons Trust is the not-for-profit, democratic organisation that owns AFC Wimbledon football club.

For less than 50p per week, as a full member you get:

A say in the future of AFC Wimbledon – the Trust holds the controlling stake in the club

Priority entitlement (behind season ticket holders) to buy tickets for all-ticket matches

A democratic ‘one member, one vote’ role in the Trust’s decision making including a vote in the annual Dons Trust Board elections – and the right to stand for election yourself

Knowledge that your membership fee is being used to help fund the Trust and the club – the majority of the Trust’s annual income goes to support AFC Wimbledon Academy and in sponsorship of AFC Wimbledon Women’s team.

    Any accountability?

The whole thing was off. Cancelling the transfer for no reason, then back on as a loan, then paperwork.

It is my belief the club intentionally botched the paper work to cut off all outgoing payments. It was frees and loans only.

    That sack of shit maggott

    And Venkys obviously.

It's difficult to fight an invisible enemy. If they were actually at the ground the vitriol could be aimed directly at them but I sincerely doubt they have watched a game for years. I suggested a few years ago that one sure fire way to get publicity would be to disrupt a match at Ewood. The easiest way it for a few hundred to sneak whistles into the ground and randomly blow them. The game would be stop/start and confusion would reign. It's cheap and would have the desired effect particularly if they were being blown in three different areas of the ground.

    Also a good suggestion

It has to be the Newcastle match on BBC 1 for maximum impact. It seems like the perfect opportunity. Something peaceful, law abiding and poignant. Maybe 20 000 people clucking on 17 and 85 mins. I dare say the Newcastle fans would join in. Chicken based arm actions optional.

We want media and visibility we do exactly what Reading did.
