Not a dig at Dolan as he has played well lately, more at modern wide players.  Can any lurking Blackburn data analysts get a graph of dribbles completed and chances created when the ball is received and the player

    Continues forward outside

    Continues forward inside

    Cuts back outside

    Cuts back inside

The default receive the ball and run into the pitch and back on your own goal can't be a benefit surely

    You're getting it, he's poor

I think a draw was a fair result in this case and that both teams showed good and bad sides during this match.

I think the Rovers lads showed grit and determination in the second half which was something that some of the forum suggested they didn't have.

our average age was about 28 yesterday....makes a big difference against big strong functional teams .....which the nobbers are.....

Looking forward to this game now, Rovers need to match Preston in their tactics and be able to deal with their shithouse tactics.

I think we will get win here. We need defend properly and not give them owt, But attacking wise we need to be much better than we were against Birmingham on Tuesday,

I think Eustace will pick this team

                         Pears

       O'Riordan McFadz Hyam

    Brittain Tronstad Buckley Chrisene

                 Dolan Szmodics

                     Gallagher

Subs Wahlstedt Wharton Fleck Duru Hedges Moran Garrett Telalovic Sigurdsson

Miller will rip Brittain to bits, can't defend that lad...Miller is a tricky player , very creative.

Yes the place looks filthy, even the big screen. Is fucked, and yes I raised concern about the back of the riverside being a dump yard like something out of the north west counties league it’s not on that a once proud stadium has ended up like this, should be making use of the riverside and tarting up the place like what dingles did with their shit wooden main stand, it’s embarrassing that it’s been left in that state

Ironically on LinkedIn you get the chef and his hangers on (normally a low grade club sponsor) all congratulating themselves on the latest apple crumble they are serving up in the corporate....looks lovely but feck me , at least tart the stadium up at £30 a go....cheeky bastard waggot.

costs nothing to do a bit of power washing on those flags,is a bit disgusting that nobody seems to care, but thats the attitude at ewood nowadays, they don`t care about messing up a players transfer,so the ground is never getting a spruce up,the side of the riverside is a complete mess and looks like gypsy`s have been visiting

Everywhere has been left for so long, I reckon into the tens of thousands to bring the stadium and surrounding area up to scratch....Tesco won't do that the shit stain.

Not an option. But might have a future at the club again next season.

What's the point, he was shit when he got on with JDT.....So many on here with short memories about a range of things.  It's no coincidence that Ipswich have fallen off a bit with him starting in their midfield.

Do you not remember watching him last season?  He was awful for much of it.

Haven't followed his fortunes since he retired as a player. What success has he had that you think this?

He's doing well and showing some good signs....https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/damien-duff/profil/trainer/65169

Obviously he's not got any real success but it seems he's making his mark and has a real passion as a manager......he could have DJ as assistant,  Shay as Goalkeeper coach.....

Very cosy and if ot worked we'd be laughing as I've read that people think DD is going to be a good manager....

Let’s not forget if we hadn’t have had McGuire in a Sheffield hotel for hours on deadline day, we would have had plenty more time to get the paperwork done. The reason he was there — “Rovers directors told Orlando they didn’t have the funds for the deal”.

Probs Greggy having a nice Italian with him.....got to show them a good time ..🤝

    Oops....Greggy the fall guy.

Considering we had agreed terms with orlando and are the sole reason for Mcguire being in the country the logic doesn't really add up to me.

Wharton deal hit a snag so we informed orlando the deal currently isnt possible. Snag has been resolved and yet we are not going back to complete the deal. Something is amiss.

Mate, the whole club is amiss. It's just a replay of last January....

Anyone know what Andy Carroll is doing these days..🤔

I wonder how he's feeling tonight....... celebrating becoming a millionaire at 19 or in tears at being sold by his beloved Rovers?

I'd imagine he's on rightmove picking his penthouse by the Thames and planning to live a right old life for the next few years....what a position to be in.  We've been a shell of the club he probably knew as a kid for a few years now.
