I don’t totally agree, he has already shown he can be a handful and can hold the ball up and bring players into the game which helps create goals. Unlike Gallagher. Gallagher couldn’t score or bring others into the game because he was a poor footballer. I felt Gueye should have started the Preston game, a physical presence was needed in that game and having Yuki and Dolan on you completely loose that from the attacking line.

I think getting £1.5mil for Gally is amazing business considering how prolific he is in front of goal, I reckon if they could offload Dolan too and get a figure would also be good business. Both had the opportunity to step up last season and neither were able to take their chances. L1 standard forwards in my opinion.

Yeah i think Birmingham fans are still gutted their shower of Wolly’s pushed him out for Shrek. I mean his management master class got off to a great start the weekend. Personally I liked him last season, came across calm and did his best with what he inherited. But with trav back Gally gone and the new lads in, looks a completely different team

Are we good now??? Honestly I really don’t know what to say about this start. John Eustace was meant to be defensive minded, 8 goals in 120 minutes is not what we were all expecting. Especially considering we thought we were going to sign complete journeymen on loans n frees and we have signed a bunch of what look like gems from a far who none of had heard of. Personally I’m happy with the 3 points. Definitely need to work on our defence of set pieces. I think it’s foolish to think we are going to dominate games for 90 minutes and most games in this devision are a battle but when we did get our chances we took most of them and if we continue to do that we will have a decent season. delighted to get off the mark with a win and I think everyone can agree that it’s exciting to have a few new signings that look to have good prospects about them. I nice surprise.
