  1. Its tough because we had such a difficult game in such hot weather just a few days before, picked up some knocks and are looking bare. I think we will make changes for this. Dolan probably comes in for Hedges perhaps and I reckon the liverpool lad will start. At the back...well, normally i would rest Ayala for this one but we dont have anyone else.

As for Diaz, well, he's Chilean so is accustomed to hot weather 🙂

  2. Then there is this from another site - seems to indicate that he cannot leave his loan club. SO it would be one for the January transfer window i imagine.

But the list does not stop, since goals are love and they know it in England, where, according to DirecTV Sports journalist Hermán Chanampa, Alexander Aravena , striker from Universidad Católica who is on loan at Ñublense , could continue. the same way of Marcelino Núñez.

The 19-year-old striker, who has already scored 9 goals this season with the Ñublense shirt, is not only looked at from Bruges in Belgium, but also in recent days he has been joined by an interest from England , a club that until now has not has been revealed.

With this, Aravena would already add polls from Belgium , England and two Brazilian clubs , yes, the most likely thing is that the four clubs will look for him not for the current market, but for the end of the year, when the striker is free after finishing his contract with UC and his loan at Ñublense .

  3. So, found this. It was in Spanish just used Google translate on it.

    Its from https://m.alairelibre.cl/noticias/deportes/futbol/nublense/nicolas-guerra-aparecio-como-opcion-para-irse-a-cska-de-moscu/2022-08-15/001721.html

Nicolás Guerra appeared as an option to go to CSKA Moscow

The Ñublense forward has had a great performance in Chillán.

    TAKE IT AWAY:

The outstanding striker from Ñublense Nicolás Guerra appeared as an option to go to CSKA Moscow , a club to which also Chilean Víctor Felipe Méndez recently left.

According to Transfermarkt , Guerra is wanted by the Russian squad , due to his great performance in the cast of Chillán and they seek to take him away before the closing of the current winter market in Europe.

They also assure that Alexander Aravena is an option at Ben Brereton Díaz's Blackburn Rovers .

This could create a huge problem for Jaime García, who does not exactly have a large squad , in the fight for the title of the National Championship or to qualify for the Copa Libertadores.

just added a screenshot to my original post from one of their message boards haha.  Quite damning.

That was one of the least polite - seems to be general consensous that Livermore is one of their weaker links, thats for sure.

Wonder who the second good Rovers player is that would walk into their side? He didn't clear that bit up. I'd argue there's a few more than that personally.

Livermore is a wanker, and I'm not convinced he really offers anything.  Would be interested to see WBA fans opinion on him -swear the guy is living on a reputation from his early days at Spurs.

They dont rate him at all and do not understand why he is getting picked over a young talent that is coming through.

I've just read that and was about to edit my post. I wrongly assumed it was the knock to his head that forced him off. Ironically I'd said to me brother he looked tired after he made a run forward close to half time. And he was playing in the shaded side 😂😂.

Yeah, in fairness though, wingbacks do have to do a lot more running than most. Especially with that rapid Diangara on his side.

    Fully agree about the managers.

Don't mind Zinfandel but just a tad too sweet for my palate - though ideal to accompany those spicy BBQ dishes.  Enjoy and my recommendation as you've nearly finished your bottle is open another!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont drink that shite - all a guise to get you in on the act. Up the Rovers!

Genuinely thought this game would be the one that bought us back down to earth.

We were brilliant today. Not so much the free flowing football but the fight, the will to win and the sheer effort of all of them was something to behold today.

Special mention to Ayala today. I moved from my usual Riverside seat to the near the top of the stand near the Darwen End to get out of the heat. The way he talked to the makeshift defence, marshalled the back line and dragged them all back into position was a defensive masterclass today, also the fact nothing was getting past him. Definitely my MOTM today.

    Great day.

Agree he was immense, we dont win without Diaz though.

    Deliriously happy tonight.

Posted many times that even a half decent manager would make a huge difference in comparison to Mowbray.

Sorry to be repetitive but JDT is Venky's get out of jail card - just feckin back him big time.

My red wine stock is rapidly dwindling and I don't care!

Managers get promotion - not players. of course the latter helps, but without the former, you have no chance.

    Nearly finished my Zinfandel btw
