They are absent owners no doubt and have done so much wrong its unbelievable but one thing we cannot really lay at their door is they do not support the club financially the money they put into the club they won't see much of that back even if they did sell the stc as housing development. I don't trust them completely but when others are telling us it's an accounting trick for ffp I'm inclined to believe them.

Credit where its due he should have scored yesterday but he ran himself into the ground for us yesterday.

Bucko/Ben 2 Derby 0
Back 4 solid, Buckley as many assists in 25 mins as Nyambe gets in a season, Travis and Johnson terrific, Rothwell spent the first half hour not so much playing in the hole but being the actual hole, Ben two great poacher’s goals, Gallagher still a donkey, Dolan ephemeral.Feel that's harsh on gally should have scored but he's winning plenty of headers and pressing well

It’s a worry. Imagine someone buying the club out of administration, who are cobbling the money together to save the club. Option 1 is to pay a rent to the people who ruined the club, to use a training facility. Option 2 is to go back to using the playing fields, in the local park.
Or when buying the club you tell them you will only buy it with the stc involved as the same people own it as many owners have done.

I'd say despite all the paranoia going around the timing of the sale is fairly important they made the sale just before the loophole on these deals closed.

The "Club" isn't even in the Club's name is it?
Isn't the overwhelming.ing majority of the Club's shares owned by Venky's Hatcheries London Ltd or whatever it's called?
Thats what I'm trying to understand if it's for the reason of just selling it off and pocketing the cash then why bother with the sale just sell it and be done.
-
It's not a good thing it's not in the clubs name anymore but if they had wanted to just sell it why would they not just have gone ahead and done that as they owned it?

Not many pass marks today, Pickering and kaminski only perhaps
Bit harsh I'd say the back four as a whole. Other than that I'd agree

Gally is indeed upfront Nyambe is looking very good and lenihan is lucky to still be on the pitch.
Mind you that's just from the tackle he was booked for never had much to do otherwise.

Can anyone clue us in on what happened in the first half? Quite a few of the regular posts probably didn't get to see anything.
How did we play? Is Gally really up front or did TM get bored after 35 minutes and tell him to hug the touchline? Does Nyambe look fit and should we take Lenihan off as a precautionary measure?

Personally I would play two strikers down the middle. I would team up Gallagher and Burns, with Brereton and McBride as back-up
I think with poveda khadra and Dolan they are not going to give you much protection down the sides so 433 is the way to go with who we have.

Think we should be putting all of our collective energy into the other topic - "HOLDING THE MANAGEMENT TO ACCOUNT"
And actually trying to put pressure on the Coventrio (plus Park)
And try make some positive change to our club, otherwise as people are saying we might be heading for relegation.
I do think with the players we have we should easily stay up but I'm not convinced we have the manager too.

Its terrible that we are so light on striking options. But the only thing I can see with the wingers at the club now is gally or Diaz up top not ideal but would be stupid to go any other way.
So I guess with Mowbray its gally out wide

If we had any sort of scouting network, any sort of footballing people supporting the manager and his threadbare staff, we’d be all over Deeney.
Venkys, on a shoe string, are a disgrace, hiding being FFP like scared chickens on route to Nando’s.
Badly advised?
I'd imagine going home was a consideration for deeny on this one.

His wiki says he can play through the middle as a false 9 or as a 10 so looks like gally will stay out wide no doubt

Stating the blindingly obvious but we won’t win many games with only 2 shots on goal.
Won't play as many as good as West Brom either tbh

No excuse under this manager. You know before you come he likes to tinker like feck. Personally I have always said Dolan has been a lucky boy winding up here and starting.
Give over mate he's a decent player who if you were mates with you would be banging on about us signing.

I'll tell you who's a decent player and does that, Christian Doidge. He has always scored goals and was supposed to be a Championship player if Notlob could finish the deal. Would be reasonably cheap but I think he can play this league.
He's out injured for 4 months.

Also to whoever said that Cooper would not sign cause the clubs a shambles thats fair it is but he plays for f****n Millwall I'd rather be a shambles than play for a club with a fan base like that with a manager who makes excuses for them.

Rothwell got taken off last night that can only be because during the game Brentford launched a bid.

Sheffield U looks pretty shitty this season..
Does not look good for them atm.
If we can maybe sign a cb maybe Bryan on a free a striker on a permanent deal too.
Then add the Brighton lad another striker and two others on loan who knows

Lets not get too carried away,it's a great start to the season better than we all thought it would be but all 3 teams we've played so far are in the bottom 6,If we get a positive result on Sat against WBA then maybe we can say we have a decent team going forward.
One of the reasons they are tho is for one of the 3 games they have played us

Can we not lay of Gallagher he put in a shift yesterday and ran himself into the ground which was a major reason we went in two ahead. One of the three up top who set the tone.
