  1. Can’t tell if you’re being satirical but that is pretty funny ?
  2. I don’t think anyone is arguing with the facts of what happened it’s just that painting Mowbray as the architect or ultimately “responsible” is just a bit of a pathetic way to justify a position. Even those saying it must know they are being a bit silly. Fuck. Just realised. Been slagging Maddison off in the other thread. He’s gonna tear Bell a new hole now.
  3. Plummeting down the table ?
  4. Know what you’re saying. Suppose I envisage more of a four four f’in two The Mike Bassett in me sees big man little man and gets wet.
  5. He’s a warm body and Del fucked himself by saying he didn’t want to play there anymore. I’d say get back in the box @Prelude, Downing ain’t no 10 for me, Arma off Gallagher is best we’ve got atm.
  6. He’d walk IN our team. Chairman’s player a blinder, sounds well shut of him now he’s not a saleable asset.
  7. Stats don’t tell the full story either. Lad’s got quality but it’s hard to parachute in any League One “superstar” to a Champ squad if he doesn’t graft or isn’t a team player. Some players look worldies on MOTD I mean, looking at Sam Gallagher’s stats you’d never think he was the best winger to ever grace the blue and white. Won’t lose sleep over MM anyway
  8. Not like we’re doing badly though is it?
  9. “Mowbray took us to League One” is completely disingenuous and sadly, you know it is. What’s the point?
  10. No, I do genuinely think we have a criminally underrated and under-appreciated manager (on here).
  11. Fair. The ”Mowbray took us down” quip doesn’t half rile me though. Even his harshest and most myopic critic must be glad it wasn’t Coyle leading the team out at Southend.
  12. Dare to dream - “The historic top 10 finish of 2020 that was very decent all told” Will need a better title for the DVD
  13. More likely than not IMO. Mowbray is so under appreciated on here and we’d end up with Steve Evans or summat.
  14. I’d go so far to say that anything above 10th is a massive, massive achievement having lost our best player and his international class back-up half way through the season.
  15. On 51 points. Goal difference vs Notts Forest, 15 games. Of which he lost 3. He gained us nearly 50% of our points that season. We were gone, he took it to the last minute. If someone took over Wigan RIGHT NOW would you say they “took them down”? Similar situation. This is a ridiculously bad faith argument. Seems there is enough to criticise TM for without rewriting history.
  16. Not like us on here to not realise how good a manager we actually have is it?
  17. And with bloody good reason too.
  18. 45 points to play for and 6 off the playoffs. I think injuries will have derailed us this season but the progress we have made is obvious. We’re playing some good football, our defence is a ton better. On the squad - Tosin is the best central defender we’ve had since we were relegated. Cunningham would have been regarded as our best full back too. They might not be “ours” but that’s the Championship. Still take scouting, signing and training. I think a lot of the summer window will be centred around marquee loans whilst our academy lads are increasingly brought through. Couple more astute frees like Holtby and Downing would be cracking too. ITWT
  19. Lol Brian Dick. I have a strong suspicion that MM has ripped jeans btw. Not a Rovers player even without the attitude. Swans around waiting for the highlight reel chances, doesn’t track back, he’s a luxury not many can afford in this league. Think what you want about their chairman - but no reason to doubt what he says. MM has reckoned he’s worth 15-20k p/w for a couple of years, not sure he is. (Obviously if we’d actually signed him I’d be sucking Waggott off, mind)
  20. Completely insensitive to the colourblind amongst us. ? it makes no sense! Good effort though ? Don’t reckon DG will get another year, personally, I think it’s time for a fond farewell.
  21. Yep SACK HIM ?
  22. Haha HOW DARE YOU SUGGEST MY OPINION IS NOT CORRECT REEEEEEEEEE ❄️
  23. THAT’S THE SPIRIT
  24. I didn’t realise it was upsetting you to suggest you might not watch enough League 2 if you don’t think SG would be the best player in that league by a mile. I’ll say it gently - “I disagree, I think you are massively wrong and spouting shite but I still respect you as a person.” Anyway, Gally hatrick Rovers 3 Hull 0 Joe H to never change his mind
  25. Sorry if it seems personal. But saying Sam Gallagher is not good enough for League 2 is absolutely comical. Saying you WILL NOT change your mind is pretty funny too. If you can’t handle your opinions potentially being ridiculed then you probably shouldn’t be so hyperbolic in expressing them.
