Watched Alesaami for part of the game, I"m not somebody who normally slags players off, but he made Bell look like like Roberto Carlos. Nothing positive I can say at all except that there's still time to get a good loan in instead.

Just watched the first 15 mins of Norways game to have a quick look at Alesaami and gave to say was not impressed at all,. Got caught out positionally a couple of times and should have given away a stone wall penalty after a wild hack on an opposition player. Judging from what I saw a good quality loan would be the better move

I'm just happy we're still in the market for a lb. It was beginning to sound as if TM was happy going with Bell for the rest of the season. I agree with a lot of people on here, were not that far short of being in with a real shout this season if we recruit well

Playing hypothetical, assuming TM has approx 1.5m to play with, which is not an unreasonable guess. If he needs say minimum of 2 players, ie a lb and either keeper back up or Travis cover, a signing on fee of £200,000 - £250,000 per player should leave enough for salaries of around £10,000 pw which again is probably about where Rovers are. Or is that too simplistic?

Don’t quite get this, surely there is a 3rd option besides spending and loans and that’s using the free agent market? Ayala hopefully is proof of the quality available atm. Not sure if free agents are entitled to signing on fees or not though?

What area could possibly need strengthening before lb? Don't get that at all, know Travis is a miss but we do have alternatives there.
