  1. Wasn't at the game yesterday, but reading the reports it appears that physically at least we were able to match the nobbers , whereas in the home game we were completely out fought and bullied by them.

Have to say though, I am concerned about this run of games in a short space of time with our injury record. Players like Gallagher, whatever you may think of him, will be vital in the run in, we can't afford to lose him for any length of time. But what games do you leave him out of, it's a big decision. Sounds like the pitch was heavy yesterday and will have taken a lot of the players, do you rest him on Tuesday? Same goes for the like of Hedges, McFadzean and Brittain, players who succumb to  injuries fairly easily. Some big decisions to make over team selection in the coming weeks for the manager

Complaining that we werent playing to Gallaghers strengths.

He is a 1 in 5 striker ffs not exactly a talisman.

And yet, we are going to have to wrap him in cotton wool for the busy schedule ahead.

Lose him to injury again and we are in the mire.

Same for Brittain, Sammie, JRC, Tronstad, Hyam , going to have to be managed carefully the next few weeks

I imagine they were on board  when it was going well, then after sixth/seventh horrendous result in a row started to question how we were playing. Always the way.

I guess by the time we went to West Brom away and JDT was still telling them they need to overload the channels, recycle the ball instead of crossing it in etc there would have been some very skeptical and dejected expressions in the dressing room.

I hope Eustace has a flexible approach. Certainly seems that way from his writeups.

Seems to remember Broughton saying whoever replaced JDT would have the same footballing principles.

After 1 game it looks like that has gone out of the window already

Nixon is clearly trying to make stories from nowhere now he doesnt have transfer rumours to make up.

No way was Waggott ever likely to get sacked, nor is he under Venkys. They wont be aware of the current atmosphere. He will just be hoping that swanning off to India whilst the heat is on, by the time he comes back home it will have died down. Hopefully not.

Surely Suhail would be keeping Venkys in touch with everything going on, including the atmosphere around the club at present. Isn't that his job ?  It should be

Just spotted this in the mirror article

    Such a mess. Poor chap

McGuire, who celebrated his 23rd birthday holed up in a hotel in Blackburn while he awaited his fate, has now returned to Orlando and Rovers hope to sign him in the summer.

I'd be willing to bet that Rovers delegation never make that flight across the Atlantic now.

    New manager, possibly new targets

I keep reading this "looking forward to what Gregg says"

He isn't going to be able to be totally honest,if it's the owners fault etc we aint going to hear that from him.

He also won't sit there explaining that they were told they couldn't make permanent signings at a late stage.

We all know (at least the majority do) that the owners are a bunch of twats

However it's hardly their fault that all the paperwork was completed by around 10,pm but "due to an administrative error" it wasn't forwarded by the 11 pm deadline. Just wtf is going on there ? GB told us after the last embarrassment that procedures were now in place to avoid anything like that happening again !

Just fuck the lot of them
