Love it. Some one (either at LT, rovers or JE side) must be checking this forum

We have been asking about Gilsenan and he answers. I'm impressed with the response too tbf. JE seems to be aware of him and already started training sessions with the first team.

Hope to see gilsenan in the squad soon

Has Gilsenan not been training with the first team all year? I assumed he would have been? Shocking from JDT if not.

The context J*B has given about half time talks is crucial. Having around 10000 people booing you can't be nice, bad enough for the experienced players but understandable how this could knock the youngsters. I'm not saying fans shouldn't boo, they have the right to express themselves, but the comments saying the players aren't focused on improving in the second half - you can't when half of the team have been shaken by the reaction.

My heart bleeds for them...Being upset about a tiny amount of stick for playing professional football....They should try working a proper shift at a real job for minimum wage (which is what most of them would be doing), then come back and see if they still want to complain.

Although as someone else pointed out, this is being done by Waggott to try and deflect attention so probably best not rising to it as a fan base

Half time discussions dominated by the atmosphere in the stands?

What a strange thing to say.....surely they should be discussing how to go out and turn a game around?

I can't get even fathom how spoiled and out of touch you have to be to complain about atmosphere in the stands when you're being paid (very very well) to kick a ball around for a living. People paying their hard earned money would give anything to pull that shirt on once and step out at Ewood and they're being slagged off because they've voiced a little bit of displeasure after 14 years of shit.

And once again, if they want more people in the stands, look at the prick setting the prices.

Thank you. In layman's terms what's the difference between the two?

Hard to see what involvement these two would have had in fucking up the mechanics of a loan deal.

I would use HOF interchangeably with financial controller, largely dealing with day to day finance/accounting operations. FD should (in most properly run organisations..) be a more strategic role, whilst retaining ultimate responsibility for the finance function.

Quick question re: loan with option to buy. If McGuire comes in and is really good is there anything to stop a club with more money to offer a bigger transfer fee or higher wages come the summer? Could McGuire just refuse and take a better offer?

I might be wrong, but isn't this part of what went on with O'Brien. We have to have agreed terms of a contract with the player which will come into force if we execute the option? Not that there's any way we will be spending £5.5m on a striker in the summer, regardless of how he performs.

  6. That options to buy price makes literally zero sense. It's so nonsensical it can't be true...wait this is Blackburn Rovers...

If we were pushing for promotion then perhaps it would be realistic - fire us into Prem, take a punt he can step up. Scrambling around to stay in the league? In what world do we spend that sort of money in the summer?

I didn't know this but how many different ways can people come up with to make me hate football. Is there any point where these fuckers don't get paid? They now get paid to leave a club because they didn't ask to. Jesus H Corbett.

    (Note: Wharton isn't a fucker)

I think loyalty bonuses are perfectly fair. It's Rovers that want rid of him. He has a 5 year employment contract that the club are wanting to break early
