  1. You tell me mate. But after the last 12 months we’ve had, with a manager who has proven 100 times over his worth, a team who have given everything to the cause and owners who have backed the manager and backed the manager and not sold any of our best players...what on EARTH do any real Rovers fans have to be negative about? If Carlsberg did amazing turnarounds, being a Rovers fan in the last 12 months would be it!! So yeah, I question the motives of those people. Now back to transfers ??
  2. Completely agree. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion. But leave it there. We’ve got guys on here going on and on about Conway. “He’s not worth it!” “I can’t see a single reason to keep him” “it’s a waste of money” etc...but these people don’t know what he’s been offered...they’ve never worked with him...they don’t pay the bills...I just find really odd that ‘supporters’ feel so empowered to judge without any information. After the season we’ve just had I can’t believe some of the negativity still being peddled on here. It’s draining and I can’t help but wonder if those people actually have the club at heart Stuart.
  3. That’s great. So let’s support the team then. Support the manager. Trust the manager who sees every single day what the likes of Conway etc bring to the party! The fact that we love the club doesn’t give us a reason to strenuously pass judgment on situations we know literally nothing about. Anyone on here know what terms we’ve offered? Anyone work with the group daily? Anyone here responsible for paying the bills at Rovers? No. Like I say, it’s weird. Just let the manager do his job.
  4. Dya know what I find crazy? I find it crazy how you can have a strong opinion on something like this when a) you have know idea what it’s actually costing. b) you have no idea what the guy actually brings to the team / group and finally c) why you’d even be bothered when it’s not your money. It’s just weird.
  5. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16248729.Steve_Waggott_provides_updates_on_Rovers_contract_talks/ Im REALLY interested to see how some will put a negative slant on this...?
  6. I know mate, but on this MB that type of comment is usually a green light to all of the haters. I only replied to try and quell any uprising!! Hahahah
  7. Tbf he explains why he favours organic growth. The group trusts him and works for him. He knows the sum of the parts has to outweigh the individuals in order for Rovers to succeed. He said he didn’t want to be disloyal to them and in the circumstances, I agree... i absolutely trust TM. Anyone who actually knows anything about The Venkys knows they are not frightened to pay the bill. In the past, this nature has been abused and they have been naive. Now they have a manager who genuinely has the clubs best interest at heart. No attempts to feather his own nest and no political persuasion. They’re right to trust TM imo.
  8. Sounds to me like they’ve offered him exactly what he wanted. That they may even have intimated the possibility of heavier investment which he declined in favour of more organic growth. Mercer and Jal have to be on the wind up. After the season we’ve just had and the positive vibe around the club I genuinely don’t know where they find this constant pessimism. There’s nothing reasonable or logical about the negativity imo. Now i I can relax....
  9. Hi mate, yeah that was an interesting reply to my tweet hey? To those on here who didn’t see my tweet I just asked Rich Sharpe if he’d had any feedback since TM returned in respect of good or bad news...
  10. Any news yet on how Tony’s meeting in India went??
  11. I think he’ll play 352 next season... imo we need a quality CB, CM and CF and to re-sign (permenant or loan) Armstrong, Chapman and Payne. I’d be happy with that.
