Does anyone know if our corner routines ever work in training?
We seem to pass an awful lot of them short and then to the edge of the area, but it never seems to work.

That’s just untrue. Not playing well today? Yes. Played well in his other games prior to this? Yes.
Really? You think he's been better than 6/10 in any game?
He's so slow and that kills us. We score goals when we move the ball quickly, not taking four touches to knock it 10 yards sideways.

Nobody missed a tackle before?
Sure, but he's missed more than he's made since he got here.

I don’t think it’s so much Trybull’s fault he’s not having a good game. He’s being asked to play a role that doesn’t suit his strengths at all / isn’t where he plays.
Either swap him with BJ or take him off. But I won’t say he’s rubbish because it’s classic Mowbray playing players out of position!
Without Holtby we need Elliot in CM with Rothwell and one of BJ and Trybull
What are his strengths?
He can't pass and has no vision for forward runs, so you'd think he might be a decent defender, but he just started the second half by letting someone step past him like he was a training cone.

Dismal first half. Luton first to second ball and passing quality is better than Rovers. Elliott and Brereton barely in the game. Rothwell the best of a bad bunch. Hopefully better second half and nick a 1 nil
To be fair to Brereton, the ref seems to give a foul against him every time he gets near the ball.
If he jumps then it's a foul. Doesn't jump? Foul for backing in. Then down the other end Lenihan concedes a free-kick because the Luton lad refused to try to head the ball.
With the decision to book Rothwell but not Elliott Lee, this ref looks like he's on the take to me.

Tom Trybull - the new Keith Andrews?
Doesn't do very much that is worth doing and slows down the move every time he gets the ball. We might actually be better off playing with 10 men.

In the old days, extra STs and Shirts were sold on the back of a marquee signing to excite the masses.
Cheston said he doesn't expect hardly any more STs sold before the season starts.
So no exciting signings then. No big name to put on the back of those horrible Coventry Blue shirts.
If the club excites the fans, they will take the plunge and get back down Ewood.
The word "Underwhelmed" has been written many times on here over the past few weeks.
I tried to buy one last week but the website isn't working. Had confirmation of the fault from the club, but two weeks later I still haven't been able to get it sorted.
Wonder how that's affected sales.

Very valid point. You would think as long as the sponsor is on the playing kit, that should be good enough.
In this case, even if we had 3 options on sponsor logo colour; White, black or navy, it would make such a difference. I am going to buy the away one now because of this stupid logo
*edit, actually a white logo would be stupid as the jersey is white. Feckin purple would be better than black though
Principles largely being applied selectively, I don't think you need to remove the logo to attract that demographic. Probably do need to win another promotion, though.

Trouble is, with the club's track record under the current owners, we're far more likely to appoint someone worse and land back in League One than find a mastermind who can take us up.
