Might be me misremembering, but I swear he’s regressed.
He’d be lucky to get a game for Renford Rejects on this form.

When did Trav turn into a pound shop Keith Andrews?

I'll leave it thanks.
Think I’ve got some Coyle-era mint imperials somewhere. Any interest?
Make me an offer on them. I don’t like them but the shop didn’t have any humbugs.

I’d honestly dock a day’s wage for every corner that doesn’t beat the first man. So common in football now, it’d never happen if they lost a day every time it did.
But that means if we get four corners on Saturday and another four on a Wednesday night our set-piece takers would be paying the club.

How much we talking?
Can’t remember how much I paid for them and they’ve melted together a few times since, but with inflation lately we’ve gotta be talking at least £3, right?

A summer being told how well we did, how we overachieved and how good we will be after the summer window.
Fuck that, I'll be watching the Ashes as project stay in the Championship continues.
I’m just gonna live blog re-runs of the 2000/01 season instead of putting myself through another year of disappointment.
Can’t wait for the first home game against Palace on Aug 12. Should be a good year.

I’d be delighted if we got money for Dolan in the summer. He’s absolutely stupid.
More chance of me managing to sell the quarter of chocolate raisins that have been in my glovebox since Michael Appleton was manager.

Diaz will be on for the second half. He has to say goodbye to the home fans before his big pay day in the sun.
If they’ve offered him more than £30k a week Villarreal will probably be on the phone to their lawyers right now asking how binding a pre-contract agreement really is.

Current Jordan Rhodes would be an upgrade on Dolan upfront. Maybe we should have loaned him instead of Thomas
I’m honestly feeling nostalgic about Egil Østenstadt and Nathan Blake at this point.

The 2013 Jordan Rhodes would have looked like Erling Haaland in this team.

Quite a few games this season we seem to react really badly to teams getting physical with us.
Hull was a prime example and we’ve sort of done it again tonight.
We’ll be on top of a game and suddenly the opposition puts in a few strong challenges, it gets a bit chippy and when the game settles down again we somehow end up on the back foot.

Tugay was a full international at age 20.
He was always a very good footballer.
It was tongue in cheek. Wharton has a very long way to go before he’s half the player Tugay was, let alone turning out for PSG.

my brother who's a Liverpool fan was struggling to come up with a comparison for him but says the way he takes the ball and moves is like a xavi
Probably hoping we send Wharton back to them instead of Morton. 🤣
State of their midfield this year Wharton would be starting for them in August. But if Morton’s turning out at Anfield every week they’ll be lucky to make the Europa Conference League.

Solid half. Wingers again the weak point and an area we need to address this summer. Diaz looks league 1 level and Sammie is fuming with him. Travis a bit sloppy at times too.
Adam Wharton - we’d have to confirmed already if he’d played all season (JDT and injuries). He’s utter class, not seen the likes since Tugay and the future is bright if we can at least keep him for one more year.
Finally, for us poor sods who couldn’t go (living abroad) - these commentators are horrendous. Not sure who co-comm is but his head is so so so far up the arse of this average performance. Called Barnes a ‘character’ after the dive.
Fucking get into them lads!!! Let’s do this
I think they made the “character” comment when he was winding up JRC actually. But all the same, if he likes diving and general shithousery someone should introduce him to Diouf.

Wharton is like watching a skinny short-haired Tugay. Does he smoke?

Tugay didn’t didn’t even peak until he was about 34. Imagine how good Wharton will be in 15 years.
Probably at Bayern or PSG, though.

Barnes is a horrible prick
But apparently the Sky boys think he’s brilliant for it. 🙄
Not sure if that’s because they hate us or because they’ve been rimming Burnley all year.

Random one: is there a team that is worse at throw-ins than Rovers?
Always seems to take an age to decide what to do and then give it away.

Bad day for Hyam. Errors for both the goals and now injured.
I think this is about the time I’d decide I was “injured” too

That goal came simply from being outbattled in some 50/50 challenges again. Woeful.
50/50 challenges that we invited by trying to pass out of our own penalty area

Vale has shown a bit.
Really? I haven’t been so confident a Rovers striker wouldn’t score since Grabbi. I’d rather have Egil Østenstadt back than watch this lad.

Very very poor. Vale has zero ability to play with his back to goal, no physicality whatsoever.
On tonight's evidence he doesn't have any ability to do anything useful at all. Even closing down, purely an effort thing, he sort of sets of lumbering as if it is some hardship and gets there just in time to turn around and walk away as they pass it around him.
He'll find his level in League 2 eventually.

They just called us strange fans - lovely.
Yeah, didn't like O'Shea getting booed for rolling around like he'd been crippled then just standing up and walking away. Yet in the first half they were hoping BBD was injured.
Nice fellas.
