The name of this thread is very misleading. Is it possible to get it changed to the more appropriate "Summer Thread 2022"?

Once again the wait is on for other clubs to take the pick of the free agents and loan signings before Rovers trawl through what's left to cobble together a squad.
Almost worked last year, but now we've lost three starters and as far as I can tell we were sort of linked with the centre-half that ended up at Sheff Utd just because JDT used to be his manager at Malmo, and there's a teenager we might get on loan from Villa. Hard to see an upside here

Did the commentator just mention ‘It’s a big summer for Blackburn and Mbappe’ in the sentence?
Maybe he knows something…..
Yeah, the lad wants to walk away from Champions League football to fulfill his lifelong dream of playing for Rovers away at Barnsley on a Tuesday night in October.
It really doesn't get any bigger than that.

What's the difference between Gallagher going down and not getting a foul and the one where Edun just got booked?

Game on the Sky Red Button for those that have access ..
I'm meant to have it, but every time I press the red button it says Sky Golf and then kicks me back out to the Bournemouth game.

Ball bounces across the six-yard box.
Rovers "attackers" watch from outside the penalty area.

I remember when managers would sub off under performing strikers early on, then they wouldn't be back in the team for weeks.
Really? I remember watching a lot of Ashley Ward, Marcus Bent and Nathan Blake.

Millwall haven't looked remotely interested in this game and we still can't beat them.

If that happened in your 5-a-side game you'd take the gloves off him.

Great goalkeeping that

I don't get the front three selection. Giles' main threat is crossing the ball, but how many headers are Dolan and Khadra going to win?

Best season in the championship since Venkys took over.
Great young side.
How much of the team will still be here next season?

Tbf we'd have taken a point before the game and especially after the first 15 mins. Real shift put in by lots of them today, we simply just don't have the goals in the team, think Diaz could've got a hatful today
But once again an opportunity has presented itself and we're failing to take it. Can't happen if you want to achieve anything.

A bit embarrassing from Trav there. Guessing he wasn't in drama club at school.

Lot of free-kicks being given for falling over.

He just pushed Nyambe into the hoardings. Like blatant. Joke
A nudge is one thing, happens all the time, but when you see both arms fully extended and a player fly headfirst into the hoardings I don't know how it's not a foul.

Buckley as a false 9 again. Can't decide if Mowbray is stubborn or blind.

Sky have hated us for a long time.
I mention it in here more than I probably should but they once played a little montage of all the Premier League winning teams and their great moments in winning the league (Arsenal invincibles, Leicester surprise win, Man City's Aguero moment)
Only PL winning team not to feature at all?
Rovers.
And they show that game where City beat us 4-1 at least a couple of times a month.

Thought Kaminsky was really poor for the goal tbh. Was never getting to the ball.
Then makes a terrific save.
Poor for the first goal too, but that doesn't change the fact that the Hull player who didn't head the ball ran straight into him.

What is the qualification to be a ref in the Championship?
Bring your own black shirt and whistle and you get the job?

I think he'll be a handy player in midfield.
What part of his inability to retain possession has given you that idea?

Do not need to play this formation vs feckin Hull City and their hoof ball to Tom Eaves.
JRC and Gallagher can stay in the changing room.
4 at the back, Johnson or Davenport on behind Rothwell and Buckley. Khadra and Dilan either side of BBD.
Stay in the changing room?
If I was the manager I'd tell them to start walking home because they're not boarding my coach.

JRC is clearly risking injury by playing tonight.
I dunno. I mean, he's useless but I don't know if I'd actually assault him for it

The arrogance of the West Brom radio commentators. Smh.
Since going 2-0 down they've come out with "they're nothing special" and "next goal probably wins."
