Not much in it for City. If anything the current model benefits them far more.

As I said fear and greed and City have little need for either. It's why I am surprised Juventus have signed up and why I don't think PSG and Bayern haven't as they already dominate their leagues.

Juventus were losing money even before Covid (about 30m euros the last full season with fans) and last year they recorded a loss of 82m euros.

They have total debt approaching 400m euros.

It makes total sense that when someone waved a cheque for £350m at them they were up for a Super League.

Remember that time we played United and they needed a draw to win the league and we needed a draw to stay up and we spent 20 minutes passing around the back four, this team would have smashed it in that game

The one where Fergie pretended he didn't know we'd been relegated?

My most vivid memory of that game is Keith Gillespie deciding to pass it backwards to Gary Croft instead of crossing in about the 89th minute.

Warren lucy i think thats his name commentates on irovers, said that was 44mins of midfield dross but said please tune in second half as we cant be worse 😂

Sky accidentally broadcast a conversation someone was having in the ground at halftime.  Didn't really notice until someone mentioned a blowjob.

Unfortunately another narrow defeat and loads of ready made excuses for the manager tonight.

I actually think the ref should have blown up against Dack for unsporting behaviour as Raya had no way of knowing Dack was coming up behind him and it would have prevented the collision and unfortunate injury.

Raya had no way of knowing?

Where was he looking when Dack went off the pitch?

Worse, can he not count 10 blue and white shirts in front of him before he puts the ball down?

If in doubt, have a look over your shoulder before you drop the ball.

As I pointed out in the previous 2 games, if you get the ball regularly into the box and allow Dack to find space then he will be the Dack of old. He's a technically gifted goal poacher. That's how he has always scored most of his goals. He scored against Swansea finding space in the box. He had a golden chance in the last minute of the previous game at Ewood before that because his movement and touch was superb but he fluffed the shot.

However we are playing him in a basicmidfield role. Its all wrong for him. He's always 30 yards from goal and just receiving it and playing it off simple. The formation is screwed for him.  Put BB up top, get Dack just off him and fire it in to them. It's got to be better than 20 passes in our own half and then lump it into a channel for Dolan to chase

Problem is (and it isn't Dack's fault) he's playing 20 yards ahead of Trybull and Buckley most of the time.  That leaves us with a two-man midfield and Brentford are skipping straight through it.

Lenihan clashed knee to knee.  There was contact

The Brentford lad made contact with Lenihan, though.  It was about as much a foul as Brereton trying to buy a free-kick up the other end.

Would have wanted it at the other end tbf

Aye, we'd have wanted it.  But you shout for anything.  We never get em, though.  Two soft ones against us in four days but the only one I remember us getting this season was Gallagher against PNE.
