  1. Why comment asking where they are then in my prediction of who Ismael will pick when you've just said yourself that we don't even know if they will be ready. Bizarre ๐Ÿ˜‚.
  2. I hope they do, but have they been said to be match fit for it yet?
  3. I just can't see anything but a Preston win. They have started the season really well, the fans will be with them. This is not the same as going to away to a misfiring Leicester, or an injury plagued Bristol City. Heckingbottom will have his players fired up for this one, whereas Ismael will probably have Rovers struggling to string a couple of passes together, not to mention being utterly lightweight as they were against Derby - Preston are another side that will be too physical and strong for the Rovers softies. Predicting that Ismael will pick this team: Pears Miller McLoughlin Hedges Alebiosu Montgomery Tronstad De Neve Morishita Ohashi Gudjohnsen My god that looks an awful team ๐Ÿ˜‚. Preston 3 - 0 Rovers
  4. That's fair. I don't know much about them as a club but fair play if they reinvest in the squad. That must be nice ๐Ÿ™ƒ. If they weren't below is in the table currently then I'd wish him well, but as it is they are a relegation rival as it stands. I don't expect them to remain down there but then I also expected Sheff United to have pulled away by now as well.
  5. Not convinced Norwich is the right job for him. Yes they have a goalscorer in Sargent, and while I don't know enough about the Norwich players, do they have the capabilities to play JDT ball? They're in a relegation battle after all, and I'm not sure his way of playing is the way out of it. Despite keeping hold of Sargent, Norwich do tend to sell their better players each summer, so again, not sure he will get the backing he might want. I'd wish him good luck but Norwich are rivals for relegation so far....and you just know if he goes to another Championship club that he'll come back to haunt Rovers, as Eustace has done.
  6. You know what, I wish Rovers were more like that than they are. They're too 'nice' and they're too soft. As a group of players there is no nasty streak in them to rile up opponents and get the fans on side. As Roy Keane once said, "sometimes I might just smash into someone just to make me feel better".
  7. Pleased for Harry Leonard that he has started scoring for Peterborough. Absolute madness from Rovers to sell him permanently instead of just a loan deal.
  8. Why the hell would he applaud fans that are booing him? Mental.
  9. Football and results doesn't come first for the owners. They couldn't care less whether the team is top 6 or bottom 6.
  10. We could all see that it was total self sabotage by the club. With 4 at the back we were light with CBs, but switching to the 3 CB's system makes it completely unmanageable in a hectic Championship season. Absolutely no thought or long term planning by the club.
  11. They had high hopes for Tavares as well ๐Ÿฅฒ
  12. Last season perhaps. I don't feel like they have the players to provide consistent service to any half decent striker.
  13. Overall a pretty awful performance. Ohashi took the penalty well but that was pretty much the only genuine chance Rovers mustered for the entire game. Gudjohnsen completely absent, Alebiosu surprisingly poor, Miller terrible, the rest of them were all lots of effort but no real quality. Never looked for one minute like they would threaten Derby in open play. Watching Miller take about 50 long throws and pretty much all of them fail to beat the first man is like some form of torture. Missing key players in Toth, Tronstad and Wharton did not help at all either, but they're going to have to find a way to figure that out, at least in the case of Toth and Wharton. Montgomery has done enough for me to warrant a starting place based on his recent appearances. Its a bloody good job they managed the last 3 wins, because Preston away will be very tough with them in good form, and the games come thick and fast in December.
  14. This is possibly the most lightweight Rovers side I've ever seen. Not a single Rovers player looks capable of coming out on top against any of Derby's players.
